So sorry for your loss Earl, I lost my dad last year as well and I retake my knitting to channel my pain 😢. I'm glad I found your wonderful tutorials. I love all of them!
Thank you so much, Marcella. Last year wasn't good. My mom passed-away during a scheduled surgery. I had gone down to Florida to help her recover and instead had to plan a funeral. I spent 6 months traveling back-and-forth between Kansas and Florida, the latter, where she lived. She had two cats that I had to figure out how to get them to Kansas. I was finally able to fly them back to my home in Kansas in October of last year (my mom passed-away in June). I couldn't bare giving them up for adoption, especially considering the two were siblings. We had to renovate our house to accommodate two additional cats (we already had a cat). We had to take carpeting out of and replace with hatdwood floors for two bedrooms to increase our home footprint. I can't deal with cat urine in carpets. Anyway, I was able to knit while going back-and-forth, but couldn't make any new content for my channel. I'm back at it, though. I have two other videos I'm about to upload, so keep your eyes peeled. @@user-yo6ig5yv9f I'm so sorry to hear that. The terrible things our leaders do affect every citizen within that country whether they approve or don't. The same could be said about being American and having had a leader who incited an attempted coup against our democracy. It all sucks.
