`I've done this in a similar fashion, but angle-cut both the fabric and the piping out of habit (I guess) because I'm also a quilter. I like YOUR way much better! So thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge. p.s. If anyone else decides to comment on your so-called "too long" fingernails, they can STUFF IT! It's none of their D**m business. From what you've commented before, they work for you and that's ALL that matters!
