Thanks bud, yeah I definitely wouldn't have attempted it with seaming tape although that was my original plan. But I do have confidence with the ms 300, it's pretty good stuff 👍

Thanks bud, yeah I did have a couple of ideas the way I could do it but in the end decided to go with this after getting a couple of reassurances from Carl at cwd. It is a trial at the end of the day, hopefully it works out, but now I've done the task and seen the results of ms300 I'm pretty confident. 🤞👍

Thanks mate and that's awesome. I knew it was a massive risk doing this but I was quietly confident that it would work. I definitely recommend using MS300 over seaming tape all day long. It's a lot more forgiving! Anyway how I see it is it gives people 1 more option when it comes to lining their pond. @@koicentralofficial Thats great mate thank you. I just need to sit down and do the figures on doing it your way or going down the boxweld route. Like I said it's just taking the gamble sometimes and not following the crowd and doing your own thing. You've inspired me.

If it's a perfect square then I'd be going the box weld route. This is definitely an option if box weld is a bit of a headache 👍

I would 100% use this over seaming tape all day long. No need for priming, and it's a lot more forgiving! As in when you join the two liners with MS300 you can adjust, but with seaming tape once you join that's it. Its my first time using this and tbh I'm really impressed with how strong it is 👍

You’ve done a fantastic job, and when you take your time and ensure each individual section is adequately sealed, like you have, I can’t see how you will have any issues with it. 🤞🏼👍🏼

Looks fantastic. Well done for being the 1st to try , has given me ideas about making my own boxweld liner , where did you get the liner and the pre-made corners from ? And not sure if I missed it or not but how many tubes of the ms-300 did you use in the end ? Thanks Andy :-)

@@andrewjones7670 Thanks Andy, the corners I got from aqualiners direct, firestone easy corner. The liner is 1mm epdm from cwd pond. And I think I used about 24 tubes of ms300, that was for the whole job including the window. 👍

No leaks and it's been filled for 12 months now 👍 got to be an epdm liner and ms300. I definitely wouldn't try it with any other sealants!

@yorkshirekoi2246 Hi mate, no worries, I'm always open to feedback 👍 So I'm kind of guessing that you didn't see the original video 12 months ago when I lined the pond. Anyway, having had discussions with Carl from CWD pond, we did this as a trial of his MS300 sealer. This had never been done before but both Carl and I were quite confident that it would work due to the superiority of MS300 over ct1 and other sealants. As you said seaming tape wouldn't be any good over these contact points, which is why I didn't use it. Anyway it was a fairly straight forward process and turned out that it was easier to join epdm liner using this method over seaming tape. The reason I wanted to try this method was that fibre glass wasn't an option and I certainly didn't want any folds whatsoever in my liner. Even by sealing the folds down you still risk trapped waste and those folds are also susceptible to coming apart when filling the pond. I would not line a pond using my process with anything else other than MS300. Anyway, with regards to your comment "that's not how you seam a liner" I would say "that's not how you traditionally seam a liner" is more accurate. I'm all for trying new things and innovation is key in any walk of life and unless we try new methods how do we progress. Its been 12 months since I ran this trial and I can report that the method I used has been a complete success. If you haven't already used MS300 to fix your small leak in the corner of your pond then I would highly recommend that you give it a go, you will be pleasantly surprised. Thanks for watching Matt 😎👍

@@koicentralofficial thanks for the reply i did use ms300 but the crease was in the corner and I must of got my leak here. But hope it your pond works for you its an interesting idea no doubt .

@yorkshirekoi2246 Cheers, if you ever need to repair a corner have a look at epdm corners. They're pre moulded rubber corners pieces, just slap it on with a load of ms300 and corner sorted. Used them on my build 👍
