@@C_IsAway Right?! I didn’t dislike Daisuke Namikawa’s performance in the OG, but imo he just didn’t fit Giorno’s personality at all. He sounded too youthful and playful for Giorno, not to mention his “muda”s sounded very weak, but I think Kensho perfectly represents him as a character, and his energy is so palpable.

I imagine Yuki Kaji has always wanted to Ora Ora like Daisuke, and was ecstatic to get the role of Johnny not once, not twice, but 3 times now

@@rockholicx2898 JoJo’s isn’t the type to recast voice actors of existing characters as new ones. I highly doubt he’ll voice him. Which is something of a shame considering the sheer skill that Yuki has.

Not sure why everyone thinks steel ball run won't get an adaptation. I don't think it will be soon, but everyone acts like they have confirmed that they will not adapt it. In an interview one of the animators said it would be expensive and difficult to make, but did not say it would not happen (he also said he would rather not use cgi, but I still think that's a possibility). He just said people would have to wait a while. People also were convinced part 6 wouldn't get animated either. It may be difficult to do, but I really doubt that David Productions wouldn't animate the most popular part, unless they literally just cannot afford it.

@@tmtorsmth Mainly because Hatano's screams have so much more passion and intensity, they sound much better, I also like that Hatano's voice makes him look more intimidating in combat. It's true that Yuki Ono has a more youthful voice, appropriate for Josuke, but I can't say that I like Yuki's voice more than Hatano's, because I don't.

No in fact Part 3 always had hella adaptations. We have the 90’s - 2000’s ovas, part 3 cassette dramas with a different voice cast, and the Dreamcast and arcade 1999 video game. If you were a Jojo fan before 2012 and read the old published part 3 mangas you were reminded that the other parts were exclusively in Japan and saw part 8 redraws of the old Jojos with spiky crew cuts lol.

For me, I was fine with Wataru Hatano being replaced by Yuki Ono. While the former does a fantastic job with Crazy Diamond's cries, his Josuke I feel was a bit too rough and I don't think he would be able to get the softer, more comedic side of Josuke quite right, which is where I think the latter does wonderfully. I do think that with the right direction (and perhaps the anime making Josuke look a bit rougher like in the earlier arcs of Part 4's manga), Wataru could do just as good as a job as Yuki. Joji Nakata is a similar case, but I think Tomokazu Seki fits Pucci much better. While Nakata (as well as Shō Hayami) gives Pucci this commanding presence and sounds incredibly badass, doesn't really fit the more calmer aspect, almost innocent in an extremely twisted sense of his character. I certainly can't imagine him doing Pucci in the flashbacks either. I don't think every replacement has been perfect (Bruno and Hol Horse, off the top of my head), but as long as the actors do their job well in whatever they're working in, I will be content. I do hope Yuki Kaiji sticks around for Part 7's anime, but if he doesn't, I hope whoever will succeed him can fill in the big shoes he left.

They should ask Koki Koyasu to voice Diego Brando. Both Dio Brando and Diego Brando are differences here, so they're supposed to have the voices of father(Takehito, voice actor of Ryosuke Takahashi) and son(Koki).

I know that Miyuki Sawashiro is a very talented seiyuu but I think Fairouz Ai fits more Jolyne. When hearing the war cries, not only that I thought Jolyne sounds too aggressive but also like a ruthless killer. The anime one balances between her heroic side and wrath
