Y’all are great!! I think it’s wonderful the people that are still together and married with children and living their lives but you 2 are wonderful! I know people attack you and say well why are they still engaged but there is absolutely nothing wrong with that! Stay the way in whatever way works best for you and NO ONE else!! No couple is perfect and everyone has arguments and has to work through things! I’ve been married 11 years with 2 kids and my parents have been married 44 years! The fact that both of your parents are still together show that your families value marriage as both of y’all do and when you decide too it will be right! I know you travel a lot and have things you do and have to deal with and like you said your enjoying yourself together getting your home ready and I think that’s absolutely wonderful! Y’all have done it the smart and right way and I appreciate that so much! I can tell you both have wonderful morals and scruples and I respect both of you so much!!!

Love to hear the unfolding of your story! Before John and I were dating in HS, we were friends and no one believed us. We insisted we were only friends until the day we weren't and someone caught us kissing. So I say its great to be best friends first which we were and now we are together 40 years!
