I'd say "D'arby the Gambler" is my favorite episode(s). Its got everything that makes Jojo great: an absurd villain, over the top dialogue, bad English, very tense, and clever writing.

My fave episodes of Jojo are “Darby the Gambler (part 2)” from Part 3, and “Lets Go Eat Italian Food” from Part 4. Really clarifies that a Stand Battle could be *anything*, from an actual fight, to a game of poker, to trying to figure out what your chef did to your pasta.

This show is filled with musical references as the writer for JoJo's (Araki) is a huge fan of Western music and has named several characters and abilities to famous musicians/songs. Can't wait for you guys to react to this anime

The character design goes from hulking bodybuilders to shredded Gucci models. It's really cool see the art progress and develop. I would love to see y'all get some editors and just put a bunch of episodes out. Like two a week (because of how long this show is, especially Part 3). Its a great show that handles a lot of tones well.

This show is so based and fun. Also, the show frequently changes artstyles, usually from season to season but sometimes even episode to episode. And because there is no canon color pallette to any of the characters in JoJo, there's a lot of experimentation with color even just between versions of characters in the anime or in the games and stuff. It's very eccentric but it's got the special sauce as well.

The cringe is mostly just coming from the community, but the show itself is so wild and is also dramatic and deep at the same time, the whole show is an art. The "highschool" arc for JoJo I'd say is the exact vibe that I think would describr the whole show the best. It didn't soften down at all, while it looked like that. This is the first reaction opening I've seen that didnt like that part xD definitely not the worst, just a heads-up once you get into the show. Every Part has its own vibe and story that is not as same as any other parts.

As a heads up for the future, the BEST version is *NEVER* the 60 FPS version. Those use frame interpolation and it completely ruins the visuals. It's hard to notice if you don't know what you're looking for, but it looks significantly worse than the original

Part 4 is actually - imho - the best part that's been animated so far.

After part 6 ending I can't fucking wait for part 7. It's honestly my favorite part + it's when JoJo goes from SHONEN to SEINEN which should tell you plenty about how bizarre things get later on

The show isn’t CG like some of the intros. And street fighter and a lot of anime take a lot of inspiration from jojos because it’s so old. The thing about jojos is that it’s very goofy but also somehow the coolest thing ever

So to explain, every season has a new protagonist and is usually set in a different time period. The one similarity being that it takes place in the same world and that the main character is always a JoJo, a descendant of the Joestar bloodline. So, Jonathan Joestar or Joseph Joestar = JoJo. It's very easy to understand once you start watching. It's a generational epic.

Very general explanation on how JoJo’s works IF YOU WANT, you could also go in blind if you want: JoJo’s is divided into parts, and each part is a different generation, story, and a new “jojo”. There are connections between parts, sometimes more than others. Murder mystery, mob drama, adventure movie vibes, prison, etc. also constant music references

The show is not really divided in seasons, it's divided in parts. Each part focuses on one story with its own cast and setting, and each part can have multiple seasons. There are 6 parts animated and there are 9 parts in total with a new one that just came out called Jojolands.

Be carefull, the 60 fps doesn't look good on any openings because of algorithm used to make the animation look "smoother" (but often in the final result it looks weird) Sorry i have a bad english*

Why we zooming on "FINGERNAILS" well it is important for the plot, way too important for plot.

The colors in this show are amazing. Also, even though it is extremely bizarre at times, I still got extremely invested in these characters and the twists that happen throughout. The show takes itself serious but also balances the silly weird stuff. Part 4 and Part 5 are definitely my favorite. Y'all didn't seem to like the Part 4 OP's too much, but I assure you the art is just as good and unique as Part 5. (I haven't seen Part 6 yet)

I love this show because it just quickly goes off the wall with how insane it is. Favorite character is probably Dio. Man is insanely petty. But the villain in Part 4 definitely is up there too for me. I like them for different reasons. All the villains in the show are great. Main cast too. A lot of people say Part 1 is boring and to skip it(and even Part 2?). No. Part 1 is a bit slow in some areas, but don't do that. Starting off at Part 3 is such a weird decision to me. Imagine if someone was like, "Yeah. I love One Pirce. But I skipped the first 300 episodes because someone told me it was slow". No. I think my biggest problem with Part 1 is that there's a character who explains everything happened. As it's happening or after it happens. But that's also a common thing in Shounen so I can't be too upset. Once the show finds its stride, it finds it. And it's amazing

Part 6 is the end of jojo(technically). Part 7-9 is a completely separate universe not connected to the previous one. Part 7 was just called steel ball run at first before the title became jojo part 7. This is because part 7 onwards is a very different experience from the previous parts. It is extremely hard to animate(too many horses and sunsets and awesomeness), so i doubt it'll ever be animated. Part 7 is considered the best season of jojo

When you watch the show, dont skip the intros and outros for the episodes. As you learn what they are showing, it really adds to the experience. They only spoil thing when you already know, and its big to learn how much thought and care was put into every aspect of them. And you'll love the part you think you didnt here.

I recommend avoiding 4K 60fps because it means that the uploaded used Ai upscaling and interpolation to smooth it out to 60fps, sadly this results in a lot of smudging and makes freezes for impact get kind of ruined as they become smooth and loose the impact.(it’s a very common mistake) Other than that loved the reaction it was really fun Would also love to see ur reactions to the jojo endings too!

The anime is over for now. The studio that produced it(their name escapes me) said they only had plans to animate part 1-6 as that’s the original JoJo timeline. Part 7 - 9(as of writing) are a reboot of sorts and are currently manga only.

Favourite episode is for sure D'arby The Gambler. Its the exact moment when i realized that this show was fully my jam. Favourite characters are hard because they're all pretty good honestly but I'd say Joseph and Waamu are up there for sure.

About how many parts (seasons) the show has: Currently there is 9 parts and only 6 of them are animated and the next one is part 7: Steel Ball Run which is the one that MOST manga readers are excited for since it's the part where JoJo goes from Shonen (kids - young adult rating) to Seinen (young adult - adult rating) (oh and because part 7 is just really fucking good)

As something to summarize: The story follows the bloodline of a family whom encounters supernatural adventures, some of which spanning the generations. Example: first season's protag is the grandpa of the second season's protag.

"Is that Joseph Joestar?" - you're about a few openings too late for that train, chief!

On the time gap question, there's quite a large time gap between part 1 and part 2, and same again between part 2 and part 3, but quite a small one between 3 and 4, and 5 and 6. Parts 7, 8,and 9 aren't animated yet, and can't remember if there's a part 10.

With Jojo, I went in for the memes, but I stayed for the story.

49:17 manga is ongoing still, anime covers first 6 parts of the manga so far. Manga started part 9 not long ago, part 8 started being published before first season of anime came out, it came to conclusion last year.

The "high school" part is amazing and the second intro is my favorite part. Me personally, not a big fan of the "blonde boy" part.

Parts 1-6 take place in the original universe which has now been wrapped up in the latest season which is why the final opening was such a good ending point, part 7-9 take place in a new universe and they haven’t been animated yet
