The thumbnail was sort of funny as everyones on the ground because they are hurt but Johnny was there all the time.

I strongly feel that Jonathan should have been the one to stop DIO somehow. Like it'd be more fitting from a narrative point of view imo, plus it would just be so cathartic to see the OG Jojo take down Dio Brando one last time

Jonathan got totally shafted in this scene. I know he's one of the least popular Jojo's but he has some serious history with Dio, so I'm shocked they didn't at least give him something to do. Not that it would have mattered, but damn.

To people confused about Dio nullifying Johnny and Giorno's attacks but being harmed by jotaro: The world over heaven has the ability to overwrite reality with its fist. He punched Johnny's bullets and went hand to hand with GER so he overwrites their abilities to nullify them. Jotaro however punched him in the face which is why it connected.

I love that Johnny was the first to take a shot at him, and then Giorno. They're both more blood thirty, but Johnny is more rash and emotional.

So getting hit by the Golden Rotation does nothing. Getting hit by GER's negate action effect does nothing. But a punch from Star Platinum, however briefly, affects Dio. Seriously?

You know DIO is overpowered af when he straight up tanks GE Requiem and Tusk ACT 4

Legit they let Jotaro steal all the fucking fame. It's the one thing I hate about this game. Ugh.

Speedwagon is the best Joestar

I can honestly see why people both really want Johnathan to be a lead and really want Jotaro to be a lead. Johnathan was the person who started the series and the fight against Dio, meaning he should be the one who deserves closure the most. Hamon was something I liked a lot more than the Stands, but I think both serve their function for Parts 1-2 and Part 3 respectively. Yet, Jotaro is the character who continues the family fight and actually stands a chance against Dio due to all the current problems surrounding who can and can't fact Dio. He's also extremely strong in his own regard and with the series moving away from hamon it makes sense why Johnathan is kinda useless now to fight against Dio considering he's more or less a relic. You can argue that since he technically has Hermit Purple 2 that he could fight, but that's up in the air as to if it would even make it possible for him to land a hit on Dio. Of course, Speedwagon should've been the one to decimate Dio.

I really hope Jonathan can have some lines with Dio, not Jotaro.

I noticed a lot of comments about Jonathan not stepping up his game. Did everyone forget that Jonathan, despite all that happened, did not have the heart in him to hate DIO at the very end of it all? In Jonathan's dying moments, he could only hope that they would disappear together. He even considered DIO his friend. That's the primary difference between him and Jotaro. Jotaro values and gets strength from protecting his family above all; his entire journey was for the sake of saving his mother's life. I'm not surprised that Jotaro is the main character her. He is, after all, the only one who successfully killed DIO without any hesitation or attempt to seek friendship.

as hype as jotaro rewriting reality is and how great it was to see everyone have a wholesome happy ending, i kinda wished jonathan sacrificed himself by just coming into contact with dio to kill him. it wouldve made way more sense and felt way more satisfying to see jonathan finally end what dio started

Come on Araki, did you seriously do this with Jonathan? Dio is Jonathan's adoptive brother... they lived together most of their lives.

I think Jonathan and Speedwagon would be very confused during all of this, but not young joseph. What did araki himself say? If we could see Young Joseph from the perspective of a stand user, we would see him fully wrapped by Hermit Purple. So really, Jonathan and Speedwagon are the only ones who are TRULY useless in this situation.

the fact that twoh was able to counter ger one of the most perfect counters shows twoh true power yet he didn't counter plot armor of jotaro

they should have had Jonathan awakening a stand (as DIO used his body, perhaps could it be none other than The World?) and be the one facing off Dio in the final battle: at the end of the day, the century old feud between Dio and the Joestar bloodline began with him, who was the one most affected by Dio's evil!

Now that the game is out in english has anyone reached this part yet?

I know this is non canon and stuff but the fact that Act 4 Tusk and GER didn't do anything is bullshit. the two most broken, over powered stands didn't do anything. some BS right there. Star Platinum is just another punchghost how does that even compete with Act 4 Tusk (which can fucking break through dimensions) and GER (which can reset someone's very existence to 0 just by touching them, I'm not even sure if he has to touch them). just some Jotaro circle jerk for whatever reason

The plot armor made Dio able to touch Gioruno’s hand with the world OH’s hand. It silenced GER and Lesson 5 bullets.

The 3 most powerful stands, Tusk act 4: has the power of infinite spin Gold experience requiem: the moment you touch it, you are reset to zero Star platinum: the world: can stop time itself for 5 seconds & has the most devastating strength of any stand Twoh took all this & saw them as nothing, I also find it a nice detail that jotaro landed the only hit since him & jonathan were dios truest rivals, also missed opportunity to have jonathan there to help end dio once & for all since hes the one to start it all, have it help jotaro in defeating dio, hell since dio is there, show jonathan with that hermit purple stand that dio used, jonathan: wha!?
