I really love the Heritage for the Future soundtrack, so I figured I should put these up. Hol Horse has the most out of character giggle when he beats enemies in this game. It's great.
Hol Horse is kind of the most human character ever in my eyes. Lives in a world where there are magical punch ghosts. What does he have? Simple, his crazy ability is just a fucking gun. When there are problems, he blames someone else. In fact, he only ever works in a pair, partially so that if he succeeds he has someone to share victory with, and partially because when he fucks up he can blame someone else. He exploits others, he's practically in the background yet has a strange allure that makes people come back and focus on him even when he's not all that special. Not special, not crazy, kind of manipulative, irresponsible, and quick to deal with problems in the most simple and not often most efficient way possible while trying to make it so he looks good in the process. Is that or is that not basically the entire modus operandi of the human race?
Hol Horse: Art, music, and gameplay makes him look like a total badass. Reality:He runs away from fights, shoots himself, and deep throats himself with own arm.
Hol Horse: "You see, my stand is the gun, and your sword can't beat my gun." Polnareff: "What's that? I can beat your bum? Oh, you're into that stuff!"
You clearly do not know what "just a fucking gun" has done to history. Go read some books, loser, and then remember what Hol Horse initially said to Polnareff on their first meeting.
Hol Horses theme in HFTF: Badass synthesized western music complete with harmonica solo Hol Horses theme in EOH: Literally just some generic hillbilly banjo music
He's a borderline joke character in the manga, so a silly banjo theme fits. Also at least give his ASB theme its fair credit. It's ballin'. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Y_Frwi9mE5o.html
@@Brian-rx9sp I'm writing this message in case of rickroll. I am willingly clicking this link, expecting Rick Astley. I have not been tricked, it is my choice to listen to never gonna give you up. Edit: oh. Nevermind then.
He's the coolest villain, but then he's the only villain that refuses to fight alone, and I'd say that it's one of my favorite parts about Hol Horse, because he's just a cowboy. There needs to be a sheriff too right?
This game's soundtrack is amazing. Each theme really fits each character without being TOO in-your-face. And when it is in-your-face, it's saved by the fact that it's a banger.
I definitely hear some cowboy in this. Tambourine, shakers, harmonica, lots of 7 chord use, at times mariachi-esque trumpet sounds. The wild west sound is in there. Though you're right, probably not exactly a stereotype ;)
I would argue that Hol Horse is a badass. Yeah, he sucks in comparison to all the totally overpowered other characters, but he knows that and still has the balls to try to stick it to Dio. Without fear there is no bravery. Badass imo.
@@captainpepsi353 Ho, i just saw your comment. It's ok, i am pretty sure i said it in a passive tone, not necesary of you to braka monaka me. I apologise for the misunderstanding from my ''edgy'' comment, if that makes you to feel beter.
I always thought Holhorse was weak cause he didn have huge combos but I grew up to realize he was a keep away character and damn good at it one of the best in the game Haha
The most awesome thing about his gun is the ability to teleport the bullet from the cylinder wayyy below the barrel up into the chamber. If Hol Horse stand could evolve, I'm pretty sure he could teleport the bullet directly into his opponent without firing. Scary.
Seth Harper The lovable dirtbag Hol Horse. He's a great character BECAUSE he's a dirtbag. He's one of the flashiest but weakest villains, he knows his limits and is not necessarily evil, but hungers for very natural vices and acts in a human manner, making him one of the more relatable characters, and one of the few to actually try standing up against Dio. He was originally even supposed to join the heroes but was written out at the last minute. Great character, wish there was more of him. Great theme too. Really highlights the tragedy, futility, solitude, and danger of the character while still providing a villainous feel. Easily my favorite theme of the game.
