The craziest thing is pretty much everything the Joker said aged perfectly today. "When the chips are down these, uh, "civilized" people they'll eat each other"
@@abhijeetsahoo1843 Hate it or love it, " War of Riddles & Jokes," comic series. The punch line, Batman was going kill the Riddler with a knife and the Joker save the Riddler's life.
"It's not about money, it's about sending a message" "I am not a schemer, I am a dog chasing cars" "if you are good at something never do it for free" "their morals, their codes! It's a bad joke" kudos 1st to script writer for writing and then to Ledger for delivering those lines with Jokee's personna 👌👌
"I don't want there to be any hard feelings between us, Harvey. When you and, uhh, Ra... Harvey Dent: Rachel! Joker: Rachel were being abducted, I was sitting in Gordon's cage. Now, uh, I didn't rig those charges. Harvey Dent: Your men, your plan. Joker: Do I really look like a guy with a plan? You know what I am? I'm a dog chasing cars. .... I just do things. The mob has plans. The cops have plans. Gordon's got plans. You know...they're schemers. Schemers trying to control their little worlds. I'm not a schemer. I try to show the schemers how pathetic their attempts to control things really are. So when I say... [grabs Harvey's hand, Harvey struggles a little] eh, come here. When I say that you and your girlfriend [slowly slaps Harvey's hand a couple of times] was NOTHING PERSONAL, you know that I'm telling the TRUTH."

@@Yeeeeeeerr ledger was full of life before and after doing the movie, it was not sucide the way he died. Its insulting to his legacy so Don't let your 12 years old emotions take you too far kid.
I just realised when Joker said “I think you and i are destined to do this forever” He’s not talking about him and Batman, he means Chaos and Order The Joker is chaos, and Batman is order You can’t have one without the other
D ? How does saying that make me not know about archetypes? I’ve just never thought of archetypes for characters with this situation, of literal chaos/anarchy against order/peace
@Logan 14 Joaquin hardly even feels like the Joker though. He’s not smart, he doesn’t have any plans, and he kinda just bumbles and lucks his way out of problems. He doesn’t care about spreading a message and is more concerned that his feelings are hurt. Heath is my personal fav Joker because he’s an embodiment of chaos, whereas Joaquin is more of a victim.
The thumbnail image, when people refused to blow up the two ships, and the Joker was confident that the ship would explode, and when it did not explode, the Joker's face turned into an unhappy and frustrated face for the first time in the movie. When I watched this scene, I felt victorious. Heath really played the role of the villain in an imaginative and creative way and it made me I hate him.
Such an incredible performance by Heath, such a shame we had to see such a talented man leave us so early in his life. This is easily one of the most memorable acting performances of all time. Gives me chills just hearing his voice.
@@nihilism6226 Well it doesn't matter if you clap or not, clapping doesn't give someone social status cause if their winning something their already receiving social status whether or not you clap.
The only problem with making a tribute for Heath ledger's joker is, every body forgets to appreciate how awesome the editing is Because we are busy watching a man play a role he was born for...
A true legend, through and through. Heath single-handedly made the Joker my favorite villain with his sheer ability to perfectly portray the character. This has been my absolute favorite movie since I first saw it all those years ago, and I highly doubt it will be de-throned anytime soon. The duality between Bale and Ledger, Batman and Joker, Order and Chaos.. It's a masterpiece fully capable of surpassing time itself. I will forever be in awe of The Dark Knight and the remarkable performance of the cast. I will forever be in awe of the impact Heath Ledger has made on my life personally. To you, Heath, rest in peace. You deserve it.
This guy shared a movie with batman in it, and people came out of the theaters loving the villain more then the hero, that tells you how much impact heath had in his acting of the joker 🃏 he to me still reigns Supreme as the best joker and one of the top 5 most iconic villains in the history of movies, he is right up there with Jason/Freddy/Micheal/leatherface, (heath ledger) joker
heath ledger joker: "Now i see the funny side, now im always smiling" Joaquin Phoenix: "I use to think that my life was a tragedy, but now i realise, its a comedy"

Loved this video and nice to see a villain one. You should do a video on Thanos. No one has and yet his journey of sacrifice and regret that's fueled by his obvious survivor syndrome made him out to be a complicated character, reduced to being a "mad Titan" by all those who meet him and don't understand him.... Just my thoughts
LITERALLY I don’t care what ppl say, even Phoenix’s joker is NO WHERE NEAR the talent of heaths joker. He will forever be the best joker and one of the best actors to ever live
Joaquin was great, but didn't feel like the Joker. Don't know how some people are saying he's better than Heath, because I don't see it at all. People like new things I guess... If Joaquin can't beat Heath, one of the best actors of our generation, then I don't think anyone can. I feel people only liked Joaquin's Joker because they felt sorry for him out of pity. That's kinda cheap. Heath for me now and always.
UNPOPULAR OPINION. DON'T READ IF YOU ARE EASILY OFFENDED. Heath Ledger didn't play THE joker... he played a terrorist who wore makeup. He is nothing like the joker. I watched it for the first time a few days ago, and I think nostalgia/lower standards for super hero films in 2008 is clouding people's minds. After all that hype, I just wanted the movie to end sooner. The movie was pretty boring, and he hardly acts like the joker. The characterization is not there. Maybe it's because I love the cartoons, but Heath's characterization wasn't good at all. Not to mention, a lot of the actors in that film were bad (two face's girlfriend was horrific) and the person who played batman sounded like a chain smoker. Not saying Heath is a bad actor, just saying he was stale. I didn't find him disturbing. The only thing that disturbed me about him was his unwashed hair. There are scenes where I wasn't even sure how people died, and that's probably because it was PG-13. it was just like alive, jumpcut, dead. I still dont understand why they left a long chase scene with no music. It felt awkward and I couldn't help but laugh because it seemed so stale. I didn't like much about the film minus Harvey Dent. He was the only intersting character in the whole movie. He stole the show for me 100%, and I wish they just left out joker and made it his movie.
One thing I have found interesting is how joker’s insanity has moved beyond the chemical pit, with Cameron Monaghan, Heath ledger and Joaquin Phoenix playing jokers that were insane without the chemical dip. With Monaghan, he was insane before the dip.
Which Monaghan Joker ? Jerome or Jeremiah ? Because Jeremiah became nuts after he got infected with Jerome's Insanity Gas ( even though he delusionally claims that he's not nuts ).
A bunch of people are talking about how as adults we understand the villains, but the thing about the joker, especially with this joker, we really don’t. We don’t know why he’s actually like this, we don’t know who he is, we don’t know how he got his scars
The idea of this joker is that he doesn't have a back story, He doesn't have a motive and that's what makes him so intriguing. He represents all of us when the chips finally fall.
BINGO. I'm honestly astounded how the top comment us the quote about understanding villians as adults. People somehow managed to completely miss the point of the joker, and this one even more so

@@lad4830 Huh, you seem to talk like you aren't human yourself. You want to think humans are pathetic, that's fine, who am I to say your wrong, but you seem to be ignoring the fact that you are human to. I think we as humans are a very complicated species, and while I have high hopes for is, because I know we can he better, I also understand that that may very well not happen. Hope for the best, but expect for the worst. But I don't think I'm above it all. I'm human, you are human, and we can't escape that. I'm not saying humanities perfect, God knows, humanity isn't perfect, but I'm willing to keep hoping, even if I know my hopes likely won't be rewarded. I'm not saying your wrong for thinking the way you do about humanity, just like I'm not saying I'm right for thinking the way I do. But I chose to at least hope, and I hope you can eventually do the same. Sorry if this cake of as a little preachy, I'm just saying what I believe.
No one will ever beat his joker. It’s so sad we lost him so early he was just getting started but he will forever live on in the joker. RIP Heath ledger 1 of the most talented actors known in the world.
In reality we need a joker to teach us what we really are , and how pathetic Civil society is ... These scum societies are full of greed , hate and brutality but they have a code so that they can remain clean ....
The potential series this man could have done with this character...it’s a tragedy it ended too soon. truly will always remain the best joker. Wonderful work ❤️
Make a new villain: Make him empathetic. Make him understanding. Make him soft. Make him sensitive. Make him positive. Then... Hurt him. Make those he was empathetic with hurt him. Stab him in the back. Make those he was understanding with misunderstand him. Turn him to become cold. Make him insensitive. Make him negative. Break his heart. Boom a villain everyone will love
That's what 2019 movie Joker told us... But I prefer the Joker past and origin not to be revealed like the HL Joker because it's much more terrifying 😎😎 Joker could have been just a man with a bad day 😂😂 SO MUCH MORE POETIC... SORRY BUT TO ME JOKER 2019 IS NOT A GOOD PORTRAYAL OF THE REAL JOKER 🙌🙌 IT'S A MARVELLOUS INTERPRETATION OF A MAN ISOLATED AND TRASHED BY SOCIETY BUT IT'S NOT "THE JOKER"... HE JUST COULD HAVE BEEN ANYONE ELSE... THEY USED THE NAME OF THE JOKER FOR PUBLICITY ANYWAY I CONSIDER THE 2019 MOVIE JUST ONE OF THE INFINITE POSSIBLE ORIGINIS OF THE JOKER 🤡🤡
Villians are accepted by common people because life is that miserable , we all have that madness inside of us like he said ALL WE NEED IS A LITTLE PUSHHHHH
This recreates the atmosphere and personnality of Heath Ledger's Joker so righfully. Another masterpiece and a build-up that was just as intense as his performance. Slyfer, master of portraying characters, fandoms, atmospheres and feelings in a video. I felt the chaos from that vid, yet the editing was on the other side of the spectrum, so well organised and on point as always. Was so caught up in the intensity at the end, enthralling ! 💕
A unstoppable purpose An extraordinary intelligent mind that understand how human psychology works No fear of losing anything Soul dead and broken by society and it's faults The joker.

Still my favorite Joker, even after all these years. I like how Joker 2019 explored the psychology of the Joker, but I love the orchestrated chaos of Dark Knight.
