Hi thanks for the review. I prefer to keep the firesteel separate from the knife. This exact knife is £80 delivered in the UK so think I will pull the proverbial trigger . Cheers

thanks for watching the video and the comment and I actually carry an another fire steel in my pocket or pack as well so the the ones I keep on my knife cases are my back ups or spare fire steel as I like to always have a back up for things.

Hi Buddy! Seems to be a good knife 😁 Also the sheath looks well made. I personally have a Böker Optima stag on me as an EDC. This is in my opinion the best high quality and most versatile folder on the market with it's switchable blades. Different blades for every situation you carry in the same sheath and you switch them in a second. I know you like fixed blades but this folder is great .If i'm hunting, fishing or hiking is have often a second knife on me that my best friend made for me. I can say without any doubt that he make the best and most beautiful knives here in Scandinavia. I own several knives he specially made for me and they are awesome and also a piece of art. These high end knives are the HW's from the far north 😅. You can have a look "lierne kniver" and you will see what i mean. Cheers Buddy!

thanks for the great comment and I will definitely check out his knives. I also carry a folder knife as well as a straight blade knife everyday for EDC. I usually have a a Joker liker this ember and then a kershaw or buck folder as well and a leatherman plus a small gentlemans folder joker pocket knife as well. those are what I usually carry on a daily basis. I always have at least 3 knives on me at all times lol!

@@BravoBassin Alway good to have the right tool with you and if used where it's made for it will last forever. The Böker Optima is comparable in size with the Buck 110 but has a bit more body and the quality is at least as good as the 110. I gave my old Optima with wooden grip i've had for 30 years on me as a edc to a friend. I used it a lot and bought last year a new blade for it but that was just for cosmetic reason. I love stag handles and i got myself one with in stag. When i compared the old and the new knife there was no difference and blades where stil fitting great when i swaped between them. I can promise the Optima is a folder for life.
