Well, here it is: my take on Todd Phillips' Joker.
In this video I take a look at the somewhat controversial movie and try to combine what we saw with the theories of real criminologists and sociologists. Let's dive into the psychology of Arthur Fleck and try to unravel his philosophy in adopting the Joker Persona as his own.
Using the theories of Robert Merton and Travis Hirschi, I tried to sketch the origin and the birth of Joker. The evolution Arthur Fleck made from being a nobody, to an actual symbol.
