@@ResidentBigEvil well, he voiced Joker in Batman: Arkham Origins, which is a prequel to Batman: Arkham Trilogy (Arkham Asylum, Arkham City and Arkham Knight), where Mark voices Joker. so Troy kinda SHOULD have sounded like Mark's Joker, for a better authenticity
I remember watching a review for Arkham Origins and someone said that Troy's version of joker sounded like he was just trying and failing to imitate Mark Hamill which I disagree with because I think his version of joker in that game sounds like how I imagine a younger not as psychotic joker would sound like and, to me leads well into how Mark portrays his Joker
In my opinion, both of their laughs are equally awesome because they reflect the two sides of the Joker. John's laugh reflects the more evil and sadistic side of him, while Troy's laugh reflects the more insane and chaotic side of him. Evil, sadistic, insane, and chaotic. Four words that best describe the Joker. 🃏
proud ? what ever do u mean.. both of them sounded like mark hamils joker on a bad day xd they did nothin trying to make their own version of the joker.
Troy really has the look for it. When he gives that last laugh at the end where his mouth is fully open just screams raw emotion. John’s is just terrifying though. The chaos and inconsistencies in the laugh make it perfect. The changes in pitch, and the differences in the noise itself is just beautiful. Troy could easily be a live action Joker, the hair, the build, the face are perfect. Troy reflects an earlier joker to me, still new to his job but more chaotic, less calculated, while John’s is the Joker of a Killing Joke or Dark Knight Returns, just a pure Psychopath, willing to do whatever to whoever all to prove his point or make a joke.
Samuel Loya They both were. I can hear Mark Hamill's influence in both of their Joker voices. Troy's is more forgiveable since he was literally playing a younger version of Hamill's Joker.
John is much more aggressive whilst Troy is very maniacal, which is why they’re both great.. And then there’s Mark Hamill who is both, and who is great
cause Leto won an oscar, that's why. Well, no hate for both of them, but hates to warners who cut out all the joker part in suicide squad, I didnt see enough of joker in that movie to make me feel impress of leto performance as joker
I like ledger’s joker laugh a lot because his laugh was more of a more of a man who was deranged and just wanted everything to crumble and burn to ashes
i think john’s laugh is more of a scare tactic laugh, like a “in the dark” laugh. while, troy’s laugh feels more psychotic with that real push near the middle of his laugh. but that’s just my personal opinion, i think they both are amazing Jokers.
The only thing that would've made it perfect is if Mark Hamill had poked his head out from around the corner and said, "Amateurs" and then done his iconic laugh.
Mark Hamil is iconic! But I loved Troy Baker's laugh better, it had that edge on the last note of laughter than I lover when actors put on when doing joker
Or better yet And then immediately the whole room goes dark and on a loudspeaker you hear "did you really think touch could get away from me" and the crowd starts cheering because they recognise the voice "there's only one Joker here..."The lights turn on as Mark (who is wearing a purple jacket) says"And that's me!" As he starts doing his iconic laugh from Mask of The Phantasm The crowd goes wild and Troy and John look at each other and how their heads in defeat
I like how John didn’t try to be Mark Hamill’s Joker but was still an awesome cartoon Joker. Troy Baker was actually filling Mark’s shoes and did a smashing job sounding like a younger version of Hamill’s Joker (the objective). Good Jokers all around.
Andrei Duduc That is true..was trying to give Troy a little bit more credit than..well no he deserves it, he is no Hamill put his Joker-again an impression of Hamill, is good.
Andrei Duduc Damn I grew up on BTAS and every time that laugh came on I tried it. My mom though I probably had severe mental problems, being like 4 sitting laughing maniacally. Yeah Mark Hamill is a God.
Imagine mark hamill came in and said in his voice: Boys, boy's you're doing it all wrong...... You have to smile mooore And then he does his iconic laugh
They both did really amazingly, but Troy was just terrifyingly fantastic. John's Joker is probably the most unique incarnation to me, though; he's in it all for the shits and giggles, even willing to die just to get his sick kicks.
Joe Chill ...My mistake, you were talking about DiMaggio’s laugh and that you hated it! Oooohhhh, should’ve phrased it better. Never mind carry on, bud lol. I didn’t claim you hated Troy, I thought you hated Troy’s laugh.

I think Mark set the stage wide open with such a huge array of laughs that you can almost hear his little inflections in everyone else's versions of the Joker but somehow everyone still makes it their own. What a character to play and my god what an amazing pool of talent that's brought him to life for us!
Honestly it's so cool seeing different actors or actresses play different characters and seeing what makes them different it was so enjoyable seeing these two do a joker laugh off with each other 😊 both incredible
Anyone can say whatever they like about the different Jokers laughs... the best one is the one that can echoes in a room this large such as a convention's panel and make you resonate inside until you have goosebumps
@@bruhmoment7940 yes, he is ledger was good actor but not the identical joker from the comic people need to stop worshiping him and pick a comic book plus troy's joker is crazier and more intelligent in a fight troy's joker's wipes heath's joker
@@bruhmoment7940 plot armour is kinda right heath played a good criminal mastermind but not the joker his performance was portrayal of the character the anarchatist who is one of the lesser known batman villains but not the joker mark and troy are better and more faithful to the character they are actually the joker.
Troy Baker would've been awesome for Suicide Squad since his voice is so creepily similar to Mark Hamill's. But then he's got the look with the sharp features of his face.
What would have made this perfect, is a surprise cameo by Mark Hamill, just walking on chuckling before going fully and completely mad. Blowing both stellar performances out of the water

How dare you say that. Not to be rude. But mark hamill is special as the joker. He nails it every time. Im mostly for Mark in the arkham games. Not origins though. Sorry. But they seem very different even though they are in the same universe
