i love the humor of the warp zone its a shame that they aren't well known or get as many subs or views which is weird considering theyre so tight with smosh
And I guess Marvel doesn't. I mean, we only have Venom, Dr. Octopus, Hydra, Loki, Green Goblin and Yellow Jacket. Marvel totally has the worst villains.
Loki and Green Goblin are good. The rest of marvel villains are okay at best. Marvel films are good, but in almost all of them, the villains are the weak point.
@@rehganwaligura525 How? How is he wrong? I might blow your bubble like you did to me and many fans but who gets a good actor only to be wasted potential, writes a garbage script, curses marvel, makes everyone suck, Damaged tatoo on Joker, Love sick relationship with harley and every single dog shit this movie has? And you disagree?
That's why you don't like their movies. Nobody who has read a comic can stand any of the DC movies. Oddly, a lot of their animated films are still good though, while most of Marvel's animated movies suck. So strange.
If only DC had the type of people who would give people what they want in charge. That way, DC would actually rival Marvel. As Thanos once said, "perfectly balanced, as all things should be.
Tat two is the only reason I sit through this video, because this video is quite outdated now. After Justice League bombed, DC and Warner Bros. realized what they were doing, and that it was impossible to catch up with Marvel's success. And so, they resorted to making standalone films with their own self-contained stories.
And the madness is that a children's animated show from the 90's not only showed it as an abusive relationship... the animated series was the place where it came from
@@christopherbennett5858 I remember seeing Batman Tas. When Harley and Ivy met for the first time.. They had an incredible chemistry. As friends or lover, they are soo cute together and Harley she's actually happy.
@@wrestlinganime4life288 Pretty much, yeah. It also set up dynamics for Mad love in that, whilst other characters find Harley endearing, her codependency issues mean that you're on the Joker's hitlist.
Man of Steel: A bit underrated Batman VS Superman: Very flawed and boring Suicide Squad: Just plain boring and problematic Wonder Woman: Loved it Justice League: Painful to watch
Wait i think that might be true. i heard joker was on screen for 8 minutes but when i watched it it seemed like he wasnt in it that long. Also i think the guy in the video plays a good ceaser romero type joker
Joker is not supposed to be some gothic ,emo guy in love He is supposed to be unpredictable but genius DC got it all wrong P.S. They didn't even express the feelings joker has 4 the Bat(more than Harley)
There's no "supposed to be." Batman and Joker are classic archetypes now, open to multiple interpretations. The modern Batman and Joker dynamic is only about 30 years old. If people were worried about being true to the intent, we wouldn't even have Cesar Romero's joker, let alone Heath Ledger.
43 years old (Joker's 5-Ways Revenge came out in 73' and it's considered as the return to his classical persona and the beginning to his obsession with the Bat) so it actually accounts for the majority of his existance. Also, there is a suppossed to be a ''supossed to be'' when it comes to the Joker. Cesar Romero's Joker was previous to the return of the character to his darker roots, he and Addam West were both comic book acurate representations of their characters at the time. Heath Ledger, for all the more realistic thraits he was given, was actually pretty loyal to the nature of the character, specially in his dynamic with Batman. He was insane, and for all his talk about not planning ahead, he was pretty methodical (even in that scene, if you pay atention, he's obstructing the percusion mecanism in Harvey's gun) and did it all just to prove a point similar to the one in The Killing Joke. But this guy is just an Emo, edgy, gangster who can't live without Harley.
well they are all different so they weren't supposed to make him anyway but a new way that's was DC and marvel do just look deeper they make remakes that are supposed to look different better worse whatever DC is good at that marvel does the same story but changes the actor or like on spider man they made a different way for him to get bitten but anyway Jared's joker was supposed to have the whole harley quin part and he loves her and has more emotions because of her she taught him emotions love happy and more instead of hate anger etc so ya he isnt your old joker because he has a couple buffs and debuffs to his story
Deathpanda 42500 Emotions were actually taught to Joker when Batman saved him from dying (according to the arkham city issues) and then he found Harley
I got sooo scared by the knock at 0:07 . It sounded JUST like it would if you knocked my real wall next to me. I honestly paused the video and looked out if someone was there. Then I restarted the video and first then when the knocking came again I understood that it came from the video.
Omg same I asked my mom like "Mom did you hear that... what was that?" Mom: "Um... there was no knocking unless its in your head..." Me:" *confused* Wha- OH ITS FROM THE VIDEO... silly me ;), Mom:"Ok...".
How Batman went from 80s to now Batman: CLASSIC Batman Returns: Nice Sequel Batman Forever: Funny.... Batman and Robin: Uhh calm down Batman The Animated Series: YES now you are making a comeback Batman The Mask of The Phantasm: YOU THE BEST Batman Adventures: It’s a nice run Batman Beyond: Now thats how you set the future for the Animated Universe Batman Beyond Return of the Joker: You made a risky move look like a easy default!! Justice League (cartoon): WE A TEAM Batman Begins: “I’m Batman” The Dark Knight: Anything about Heath Ledger And now looking at life the way Joker sees it. Batman Brave and Bold: YOU BROUGHT BACK THE CLASSIC Dark Knight Rises: The Best conclusion to a comic story ever but want better than its last sequel Batman V SuperMan: YES FINALLY... wait... Where did Batman come from in this story? Gotham: Ehh the villains are having the story this time I like that... maybe... Suicide Squad: wtf.... Justice League: .... I’m not mad.... I’m just very disappointed....
The Batman (2021): This will either be the greatest movie of the century or a “meh” above Suicide Squad. Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths: OWLMAN FTW!!! Injustice 1 & 2: down, back, x and to the skies! The Batman (2000s): Like TAS, but broodier.
or this other movie call Suicide Squad that recently came out or something. Sorry had to do it, although yeah AoA was a great movie even though it did felt a bit short.
Keep in mind this is the movie industry. DC's comics are still great and aren't just money grabbers, and if you think about it the DC movies aren't that bad. Look at all of the Dark Knight movies, they where all great movies. Look at all of their older movies like the 90's Batman movies, with the exception of one. As we move on we are losing a lot of great actors, and directors. A big reason why Dawn of Justice was meh, was because it was so vague, and it was directed by Zach Snyder.
And the reason why suicide squad sucks so much ass was because David Ayer directed it, had nothing to do with DC. The directors are the ones fucking it up.
finally someone who agrees with me that the lines are horendous. lines are sooooo fucking bad. so very very bad. filthy lines. i wanted to puke when i was watching the movie.
Greg did a great job playing as the Joker. Oh, before I finish this comment, I want to say something special that only a Greg fan know where its coming from. BEARS
+Token Thunda I came into that movie expecting the worst, and I got a ass load of even worse than that I came in with literally no hype, no expectations and it still sucks.
Eh dunno, that Joker wasn't any different from any eccentric psychotic villain. It has more in common with Vaas (Far Cry 3), if he were into makeup, than the actual Joker. However yeah, the movie, overall, was ok
5:40 When everyone begins staring at the camera Me: Huh? What r u guys doing? Is there something behind me? Michael Myers? Jason Voorhees? Wait, I'm on my bed. Only thing behind me is the wall. Oh................. that was for the viewers who kept on laughing. I did not even move a muscle in my face.
oh boy, youre riding that high horse without knowing what makes joker great... think about it this way women try to empower themselves by degrading their male counterparts/enemies/whatever until the point of it being purely stupid, manipulative, a parody etc etc that joaquin phoenix joker is just an over the top staged, overdramatized point of view of a joker that never existed i mean come on ffs, joker meeting/knowing little bruce wayne and even "surprising"/outpowering fucing mi6, highly trained alfred? thats how they pushed that joker up and degraded his counterparts in the most unrealistic way possible to set him apart now, what ive mentioned is all script oriented (or, terribly scripted/written if you will), but its the same mechanic used by the "whamen" can do better without being sexualised, being depended on men blablablabla ive mentioned just above the actor did a good/great job in terms of acting, hell no ones doubting that, but if everyones honest here, the over the top violence by common citizens, repeated "muggery" on the same guy with him being all alone made everyone emphatize with a crazed lunatic (ok, technically he wasnt at that time) making him an underdog who did nothing wrong at that time (manipulation of the audiences perception) and then made the audience perceive his crazy development and mental state reasonable, making him "likeable" and the part with him meeting little bruce and alfred, knowing them and even topping alfred, ffs, thats too much to boost him in terms of "oh hes dangerous"... no one gets how theyre manipulated to like a character on so many levels...
It s sad to see that : 1 - Warner producers is *porly editing* DC movies and *take the directors for garbage* 2 - we had *so much* Disney Marvel movie *for all these years* that people *can t apreciate something different*... *F%CK ! >
Deadpool was *the* exeption, I mean BvS, Warcraft, X-men, Jason Bourne, I know these movies have some issues, but when i see that Captain America did very good with critics... *F%CK !* >< #CriticsLoveDisneyMoney :|
dude to me its not that people love marvel more the thing is that their latest movies are better than those other movies cus they were made with some kind of knowledge of the source material, I saw Jurassic world and loved it, also loved sw 7, and also loved civil war and dead pool, I loved cuz the movie told a story and used the characters in a good way, now with that in mind tell me, what was the character development that captain boomerang got in that movie, why did killer crock tell such terrible jokes???, in the end it shows that the movie was made in 6 months
Kingsman, TDK trilogy and X dofp actually got very good reviews... I was talkin about *good movies of 2016 that got bad reviews*, and man they're many ! What ? The new Gostbusters reboot got very good critics ?...F*CK ! >
Actually, it didn't, how many times must we go through this? The RT meter just tells you how many critics gave it something more than a 6, but the averag grade for the movie is just a six.
The Mecha Shark That's what I'm saying--the trailers were good enough that whatever movie you imagine coming out of them is better than the movie we got.
Someone should show the WB and the DC Exec's this video as everything in this seems to be true from the Joker's rant's to the Exec played by Davis. The movie was nothing like the trailer and it was in my opinion not faithful to the comic books at all from the incoherent plot to the fact that the premise of the characters itself should have given this film a R rating, which would have made it so much better not to mention all the cuts of the Joker scenes making it even more disappointing as he was heavily shown in the trailers as a main focal point. If this movie was for the fans as they claimed, it would not have been a Joker centralized trailer as he was never actually on the Suicide Squad in the comics. That coupled with the non abusive, lovesick Joker also turned me off cause he in all media, comics and so on did not really care for Harley at all ever since her debut in Batman the Animated Series. Jared Leto's Joker was not too bad though, having to follow the amazing work of Heath Ledger's portrayal must have put a lot of stress on him. Though again it was not bad and could have been better if all the cutting did not take place. All in all it was a mediocre movie that had the potential to be a great movie but was dashed from studio and company interference, DC's animated movies are still going strong though killing joke could have been better, the recent entry that was rated R)
No it's not. They are just simpler movies that work on their own without any need of knowledge about the comic characters. Thus it wins the general audience
godot dc makes better comics but if a movie is based on a comic adaptation it doesn’t mean it will make a good movie. It depends on a bunch of stuff so disagree and dc makes better comics just not better movies
That was beautiful and so fucking accurate. I'll always be a DC guy but I'm so disappointed with WB. They ruined suicide squad due to the most inaccurate portrayal of joker-harley relationship.
You know, I feel bad for Leto. I think the directors were mostly responsible for why he wasn’t the best Joker. If they let him be a version that stuck closer to a more classic version of the joker, he could of been a pretty decent interpretation. Because despite Jared not being the best Joker, he was pretty intimidating as him in some cases, not gonna lie. That’s just my opinion though.
THREE YEARS LATER MR. RICHARDS: Well luckily a lot of those idiots were kicked off and we realized "yeah if there is a super hero bubble it's going to pop a lot longer then 2021" and are now playing things a lot better with a Joker movie that actually will be as dangerous and derranged as promised likely and a Harley Quinn movie that's actually empowering and makes sense with the characters and you know films that actually get good reviews. JOKER: Yes it feels so good to be rid of that awful Jared Leto and his pathetic pranks not translating into anything interesting. Joaquin Phoenix didn't need to send condoms to any of the actors on set to get the insanity of my character. MR. RICHARDS: Yeah I do feel bad though for Sony now having him. JOKER: Really? MR. RICHARDS: Haha, NO. If they were fucking stupid enough to think he'd make a good vampire hero that they're stupidity we don't have to be burden with. JOKER: Actually with Venom seems like Sony is the new old DCEU with making terrible movies but marketing them "for the fans" that somehow get a huge profit margain. MR. RICHARDS: Yeah we'll see if they can pull that off more then once soon enough.
2:36 JOKER: *Sarcastically* Oh we can't have that! We can't have a villain whose known for committing some of the most heinous crimes in comic book history every do anything baddddddddd. It might make people feel uncomfortable. THREE YEARS LATER! JOKER: ... You know my rants on how terrible society is and how brainless people focus on the wrong thing is just looking more and more true. MR. RICHARDS: Maybe, but so long as we're raking in the box office green we don't really care at this point. Seriously we should make MORE controversial movies with how much they rake in for not so much of a cost. JOKER: Plus there's all the Oscar buzz. MR. RICHARDS: Well I'm not sure how much there is a chance of that considering how divisive your film is to some people who don't get it or feel it's kind of a warmed over Taxi Driver. JOKER: *Narrows eyes* .... Last year Green Book won and it's ONLY merit of discussion was "racism is bad" done more cartoonishly over the top then in my movie, you know the one based on comic book characters. MR. RICHARDS: That movie wasn't divisive though.... well minus all the inaccuracies and Viggo Mortensen's over the top Italiaing. JOKER: It wasn't when it came out as it was just supposed to be a pleasant diversion without any real substance behind it and just there for people to go "awwwwwwwwwwww look at them being friends" and "man have we come a long way." But then some schomes thought that meant it actually deserved the win and now it's become the most ignorant boneheaded decision of best picture since the somehow even more vapid Crash won. So trust me bucko something that actually has a lot more passionate love in the fanbase and behind the camera actually having an important timely message done in a unique way fares better chance this year. MR. RICHARDS: True, plus now we know we can punch out R rated movies to have them be mega successes. BATMAN: *Offscreen* What about me- MR. RICHARDS: NO STILL NOT YOU!!! BE HAPPY YOU BEING PLAYED BY THE STAR OF TWILIGHT HASN'T GOTTEN US THROWN OUT OF HOLLYWOOD BY THE HATERS! JOKER: *Chuckles* Ha ha that is still such a hilarious joke; batty boy being played by a glitter vampire. MR. RICHARDS: It's true though. JOKER: Which is what makes it even funnier!
I read the all the blackest night comics and I enjoyed them so a movie or 3 movies about it would be good if Warner Bros either A. Got good.......😀😃😄😁😆😅🤣😂🤣🤣😂😂. Or the more paulsible answer B. That Disney buys Warner Bros.
It doesn't matter who's doing the Joker, no one will never even come close to Heath Ledger's version in TDK. The man literally gave his life for that role. R.I.P. Heath Ledger
Nah his joker just felt like watching jack over acting in make up at least Leto felt different but wasn't the character at all just a huge pile of garbage . Even though I love ledger and he embodies all the character stands for in the most realistic way it would be nice to for once get that skinny, smart ass super evil uncomfortable long chinned joker from the comics/Arkham games . Just read Endgame and shit that would be a great way to end Letos run as the joker and a stand alone Ben affleck batman film it's something so easy to turn into a movie cause that Leto joker has got to go with them having 3 now in the lore it'd be very easy to have him just be one of them and then bring the real one . Just a hopeless idea
The Spectacular Batman I agree with you that the best live action actor of the Joker would have to be Jack Nicholson, but Mark Hamill is the best voice actor of the Joker.
