Either some of the people commenting don't watch ellen on the regular or just can't take a joke. I mean DUH we know he's not really saying that! Ellen does this all the time! It's for fun you know " HAHA" not to be taken seriously. I don't even speak Italian but I do have common sense and I knew the second clip was fake and just for fun.
Thanks Brittanie for explaining. As much as freedom of speech is a common right in the industrialized countries, such as the United States of America, there are many countries and people still silenced and therefore suspicious of any remarks targetting their leaders (and be it religious ones) and the belief that is upheld by them (like a flag) for the masses. I love Ellen, I only wish that she can meet the pope in person and learns something in return of him, since the pope would probably not go about making fake jokes in her name, let alone videos showing Ellen and manipulating her words or the Italian( or other language...) translation. This is the correct translation of the Italian. But as usual Ellen wanted to be funny and she got is all in her own translation so the translated subtitles are Ellens words not the Pope.

To be honest I think it was well done with the pauses and everything. It didn't fool me because Italian is one of the five languages I know but it was nicely edited.
Apparently the guys at the international common law court of justice in Brussels are high as fuck too, among with the 50 eye witnesses testifying to this. If you think though that he is the person he portrays to be you must be not high but unbelievably stupid.

Then tell me, you who has seen the light of truth from that dogma, how do you explain them being in good terms with the Nazis? Not really impressed with jokes about any religion, but Ellen makes everything look 'good' funny. Even less impressed by the people who can't use their common sense to realise that after the mother-in-law joke the rest was fake.

That's the joke. I mean I highly doubt that in the middle of a speech the Pope would begin a stand up routine about mother-in-laws. Ellen was just building on a quick joke that his Holyness made.
