As a Finn, when I didn't laugh at one of Amber's jokes it was either because I didn't get it, or I was shocked by how dark it was. "But the songs were nice!" That one had so many sides, I don't know which one would be the worst to joke about 😅
I listen to so much Late Night comedy on RU-vid throughout my day, but this is one of the few segments where I really, genuinely laugh as I'm walking. The chemistry between these three is so much fun.
I'm very disappointed - I was promised in an episode of corrections that there would be some amazing revelation delivered that would shake the very foundations of the bit. Corrections _lied_ to me!
I suspect that Amber might still not be comfortable enough with the coming out to write good jokes about it, or at least, jokes good enough that they'd change the format for them.
Ok, so that would have theoretically would have been this corrections? Thanks for the confirmation. I love this bit. I totally understand if it just wasn't the right time. We look forward to that incarnation of the bit, and we're ready to be accepting and welcoming and laugh our asses off (in a good way) because these three are f-ing hilarious when they work together.
I’ve been a full time farmer since 1999. I’m a white guy in TN. I can tell you that the black farmers who live around me WORK. Their kids work, they work, they hire people who work and fire the ones who don’t. Even their kinfolk. They are models. I appreciate all of them. Best neighbors ever.
I was waiting for them to address the redundancy too. Because Seth made a point of mentioning it in Corrections! That he can’t wait for the next Jokes Seth Can’t Tell! 🤣 You said it will be addressed, Seth! Or at least get a mention! Corrections and Seth are liars! 🤣 (I hope no one takes this part seriously. But this is the internet, and my expections are non-existent at this point.)
@@ps374249 ahh got it, thanks. Figured it was something like that but I hadn’t heard. Good for her. Would have been fun if they had done something with it, but guess if she doesn’t want to make her personal life our entertainment, who are we to argue.
My daughter brought home a semi aquatic red eared slider turtle from school. It took me forever to find it a new home. Having a pet turtle is a lot like having a sewage plant in your living room only not as charming.
3:51 - *"…there were no survivors."* Me: That was Amber's joke, wasn't it? That felt very much like an Amber joke. 4:00 - *"You wrote it and you emailed it to me […]"* Yup. That tracks. 😁
It seems like Amber has two speeds when it comes to the final jokes she gives to Seth. Either the most inoffensive things you could imagine which makes the humor come from how out of proportion her "How Dare You!?" outrage is... OR... She's trying to get Seth's butt kicked.
For all you who didn't get to watch the Closer Look super special extravaganza, let me just say how sorry I am that you missed out on the best look at dog and cat eating that has ever been made. And Men's Weirdhouse. Spoiler. Sorry.
Thanks for this. You really are a champion of The People. I've been dealing with a really toxic work environment lately, this really helped me feel better.
🏳️🌈Amber: Welcome to the world of intersectionality. Glad to hear you’re in our club. I assumed you were just trying to take over Jenny’s job and own the whole bit. I admire your commitment.🏳️🌈
@@KevinL-p8l I assume that the commenter above was referencing the fact that Amber Ruffin publicly came out last June, meaning she is now both Black and Queer, hence the mention of intersectionality
@DARWINZOO It's not feminists fault White Feminism and corporations took over the Feminist movement for a period (I mean not all of them were responsible), plus third wave was great while it lasted.
I think of this as the good natured version of Lucy snatching the football away every time Charlie Brown tries to kick it. Seth doesn't do a summersault and hurt himself.
@@mygeopersonHe taped a show yesterday that airs tonight, and this "Jokes Seth Can't Tell" is from it. And the reason he didn't tell us in Corrections is that he knows that one of us is a corporate spy.
Amber “it’s funny coz it’s true!” 😂 Jennie “it’s sad because it’s true” 🥲 Amber “yeah but it’s still hilarious” 🤣 She’s so warm and gorgeous the cackling doesn’t hurt. I think we need a section titled “Things only Amber can say”.
Would someone really want to be on allergy medication 24/7? Not all the meds are strong enough, and your body can get desensitized to them. I'm an animal lover and dog-owner, , but I've seen some pretty severe reactions to pets, and it's not how I'd want to live.
She needs to find herself a nice weirdo reptile lesbian. Or an entomology lesbian. They are rare but once you find one you'll just keep finding more and more.
Correction, I haven’t seen the documentary but it’s kind of offensive to assume Lincoln was gay just because he wrote about passionate frottage with his close friends. He was clearly affectionate toward Mary Todd and had several children. We should be assuming he was bi!
IDK if you'll be posting the Primetime Closer Look so I'll put this here: "10% off gutters" at Menards is actually a higher price than normal. Menards gutters are 11% off every day, in the form of a rebate good for store credit at Menards. Also after giving the Midwest a shout-out via Menards you then ghosted the Midwest by referring to yourself as on at 10pm. In Central Time you were on at 9.
Actually, Late Night is on at 11:37pm Central time, so Seth could be basing off of that. Also, Menard's offers 11% everything you buy via rebate, not just gutters, most of the year. During the holidays they usually don't run the 11% off promo. Seriously, if it was just on gutters, I'd go shopping for cleaning supplies and Sprecher Root Beer somewhere else!
