@@kennylightofshine4148 rice is the cheapest and most abundant food on earth. it doesn't matter if they give you a little cup of it. the price would barely go up.
@@myouniverse0613 There are still places that serve good portions of the chicken. It's just a matter of luck I guess. But in case I get served with a small portion, you know that I'll be complaining and have it returned 😁
@@jdieshsvndkdkcksk stating facts is hating? I always laugh when pinoys get all sensitive over Jolibees like its their only accomplishment to the first world lmao
They started opening in NYC and I must agree.. They have the best, freshest chicken around. Nice size pieces and that white rice with the brown gravy reminds me of Sunday dinner when I was growing up.👌🏾🔥
Overrated af not like it use to be back in the early 2000's back then it was fire now now it's not the same flavor is lacking but the crispy skin is still there but it's not the same 🤷🏿♂️
Filipino hacks: just order chickens and other foods u want to order WITH NO RICE cuz u could just cook rice in ur house then bring it on the jollibee XD try its worth it
Let me get this straight. Does the rice come with the chicken? Or do you have to order it separately? My kids get Jollibee everytime they're in the Philippines visiting family, and I keep forgetting to ask. The kids reckon it's Nice, but they say they've had better fried chicken elsewhere.
@@pixlyJoltthing is most times people get fast food is cause they don't want to cook but I guess rice can be an exception cause it doesn't need much effort
@Nicholes-Dad the Lousiana Fried Chicken spot on Manchester and Normandie. Not too far from Watts. Whenever I go to Watts area I try passing by Hawkins Burgers on Imperial and get their burger with everything on it.
"underrated"? people never shut up about it lol. it's like some people's whole personality revolves around being filipino and/or this stupid chicken joint.
Man, I am travelling to America to try jollibee cause I kept seeing how good their food look I'm dying to try them😊🤩 I will go to America when I graduate on November
Jolliebees spicy chicken is top tier!! 😋 $16 is crazy, but it’s good! I peeped how you put the rice in the fried chicken skin and dunked it! You took it to the next level! 🤣🔥🔥 I gots to try that! 🤣🤗😋
Here in the Philippines with 16 bucks you can get an 8 piece bucket of chickenjoy, a platter of jolly spaghetti, 6 pieces of rice and 6 drinks. Come visit y’all.
@@SnackinWithSuper KFC doesn't charge $16 for 3 pieces. Their 3pc combo with fries and drink is $9.29 🗿. It's 3x less expensive in its hometown Philippines.
Yes and our wages are also much higher. And we are also taxed more. Does not a single person in these comments understand economics and the value of currencies? It's mind boggling
I love the crispy skin with rice dipped growing up, but omg I've thought about wrapping rice with the skin. I want to try it sometime. And I need to try Jollibee at some point, if i can find one.
me: Spicy chicken: 100/10 Normal Chicken: 9/10 adobo rice: 10/10 Jollie Spaghetti: 8.9/10 Gravy: 100/10 Burger Steak: 100/10 Cheese flavor French fries: 100/10 (there used to be. but i dont know if theres more) I love Jollibee. Its better than McDonald's
If you're Filipino, you're definitely biased. However Jollibee Chicken is real good. The chicken, rice and gravy combo is probably their best seller and rightfully so.
For my 7 yrs experience living in the Philippines as a Nigerian, Jollibee got the best chicken. Jollibee beats every other fast food including all American brands in the Philippines. Don’t worry Americans, give it a try you will definitely love it.
I love Jollibee and the adobo rice is fantastic. Best fried chicken place in my area for sure. Also their spicy chicken sandwich with jalapeños instead of pickles is great.
Fun fact I’ve never had Jollibee before even though I am Asian living in a city with there’s tons of Filipinos and Islanders that they call us the 3rd/9th Island. I would love to try Jollibee one day it looks so good from what I’ve been seeing.
@@Cr7isthegoatfootballlover17 i am a college student here in PH so i eat at fast food chains on a daily basis. Currently, the state of Jollibee chickenjoy is really bad. The taste is bland, the chicken is dry and REALLY small. They even serve non fresh heated up chickenjoy at times. A lot of people are even talking about this issue on different platforms.
@@Cr7isthegoatfootballlover17 Yes, it is small. You probably had a different experience, but again, as someone who eats at fast food chains on a DAILY basis, not only i've eaten but ive also seen from the people eating from different branches that the chicken is just plain small these days, not to mention, a lot of the parts they serve is pretty much 70% bone. They are dry and mostly served cold. They taste so bland compared to 10 years ago before they started to expand overseas. Please don't be in denial, there's already a ton of complaints on FB, Reddit, X and more about how much Jollibee sucks these days. They are even being boycotted in the hopes of them improving the quality of their food. The only thing that's worth it in their menu right now imo is the Burger steak which remained the same throughout out the years.
Here in the Philippines its really cheap! But it (pretty much everything) has increased in the past few years due to inflation for example jolly hotdog is like 20-30php back then but now its somewhere around 50php😢😢😢
Eating rice with the fried chicken skin has always been the best experience. And Jolibee is the only chain that gives you rice with Fried Chicken. It's hard to enjoy that unless you either go to Jolibee or cook your own rice and Chicken.
