As someone who has LOVED church's chicken since childhood, when I tried the spicy chicken from Jollibee for the 1st time I said "church's who?" Jollibee is way better
There was a church's chicken near the elementary school I went to. I would go almost every day to buy one piece of chicken for only a dollar. They had this friendly cashier who would always greet me. She's been working there for years. I randomly ran into her at another church's chicken location right after high school. It was like meeting an old friend. She remembered my name and everything, giving me a big hug.
@@SnackinWithSuper I'm from L.A. You can only find Church's in the most ghetto areas here. Decent chicken but I wouldn't go unless I had a gun. Every single one I've seen had bulletproof glass. The sides are completely fake but the biscuits are good.
i guess that converts to about 30 bucks american. still pretty steep, but i haven't been to eaither in years. i remember popeyes used to have a 2 piece and biscuit in for 1.29 on tuesdays, just over 10 years ago i guess, i guess that's long gone but i wouldn't know @@SnackinWithSuper
The description says $16 Canadian dollars for 2 piece meal combo. So that’s $11 US. $14 US for the Church’s. I know it didn’t sound right so obviously it couldn’t be. Try figuring things out first before jumping to conclusions
Ain’t no damn $15 dollars on the churches that there is roughly 9-11 dollars and the other place I wouldn’t know but that shouldn’t cost over 30 together lol…
Hot take: im not the biggest fan of the chickenjoy, and i live in the philippines Dang, didnt expect replies to this I’ve finally found people who agree with my opinion tho so yay!
Churchs looks delicious to me, i'm tired of tasting the same chicken over and over again. It's like saying it's now dry when you taste it too much. I need some other chicken but only if Churchs is in here
Church's coming to PH would be great, cuz I have another brand of chicken to try out. If Church's collabs with Jollibee, it would be SUPER insane and hype
@@eradict Tf you mean not good? The spices they seasoned on that chicken is way better than Jollibee chicken. Their sauce choice is even more diverse. Don’t even get be started, their cajun fries, crispy, flaky and full of flavors. Jollibee fries are so dry and bland, like serious, what do you guys sprinkled in there? Msg?
Fun fact: The reason Jollibee has a hint of sweetness is because the locals from the country of origin (Philippines) are a fan of sweet things instead of saltiness.
I think the sweetness has something to do with Jollibee’s origins from the Philippines. Sweets are quite the popular thing in the Philippines. Resulting in some sweetness in even the meat centered food there.
For those who had deja vu on Church's Chicken outside US it is because it's called Texas Chicken to avoid confusion of its relationship with Christianity
Call me uncultured, but i dp NOT understand how there is a steady ladder of quality from garbage to godly when it comes to one single kind of food, prepared in one specific way. Food really is a miracle.
hey at least this guys honest unlike others who feels like they've been held gunpoint by the filipinos, well not all but some people. this has been said by a fellow filipino
