GCW should be a situation the player opts into and not something that is inevitable, if what you say is true and a political power struggle, akin to what had occurred in the USSR after Stalin’s Death, is to be implemented than most of my qualms with TNO have been addressed.

I started hearing it now too... it may be because during WW1 before Poland was re-established as a country many Polish soldiers were serving in the German army, so I have a theory that a lot of Polish songs ( and by that i mean the Legionary songs like "Grey Infantry" ) are inspired by the melody of German folk / army songs.

According to a popular theory, Karl Marx had got his inspiration from this exqact event. So if anything, this would be something the resistance would sing in Wolfenstein.

Исходя из моих представлений о лоре ТНО - это Немцы-республиканцы/демократы (судя по их "Веймарскому" флагу) при помощи американского оружия (гаубица на заставке уж слишком похожа на 777) воюют в Берлине (на фоне - купол построенного после 2-й мировой "Зала Народа") с каким-то нацистким варлордом (как никак играет песня про борьбу с тиранией). Как по мне - гораздо более красивая трактовка.

Это столица Germania, весь бюджет проекта новой столицы ушёл на люфтваффе в нашем мире.

TNO is way better than TWR. It has well written lore, revolutionary mechanics and good focus trees. TWR has none of those.

I enjoy TWR more than TNO because it doesn't lag my game as much as and the UI is vanilla. But what makes TNO works because it doesn't need to be realistic. TWR focus more of most true realistic outcome. TNO focus on more Low fantasy (Low fantasy means a unrealistic fiction that take place in our world) Outcome. Which is a Plus to me. It creates more freedom in story. This is why when they rework Burgundy to be more realistic. It doesn't feel TNO.

As for the dialogues are cringe as hell, and very childish too. Every character speaks the same way and spout insults every 2 lines. "REVULUTIONARY MECHANICS" ah yes having a sorry excuse of a card mini-game and having nonsensical civil wars, how revolutionary. Just like the gameplay, which consist of staring at your screen for 10 hours, only to be disappointed by the lackluster ending if you manage to survive until then. TNO's is only saved by all the angry redditors screeching whenever you dare criticize their mod. Because yeah, turns out it's a mod by redditors, for redditors. And the non-existent quality checks out. And that's not even mentioning the groomer allegations that got quickly pulled under the bed, with people doing some borderline propaganda stuff to make fun of it, to try to lessen its credibility without debunking it with arguments. Funny how after that, people denied the allegations, even though a few members did get fired from the TNO team directly because of this situation. Do you know what TWR has in comparison ? A realistic, actually well written LORE. Fun gameplay and multiple paths, that are all interesting as hell and do not give you migraine. Except the zhukhov warlord, it's boring and has extremely cringe dialogue... reminiscent of another mod i mentionned in this comment, almost like the guys in charge of this warlord tried to replicate it. Huh. The mod's only problem is the lack of people working on it, at snail's pace. With half of the efforts that TNO got, TWR could have been developed so good it could rival kaiserreich.

@@rubiepie That's precisely what makes TNO not work. It's nonsensical. You could replace all the characters with idk undertale ones and it would make just as much sense. Of course, it wouldn't make any that's the point. You could perhaps say it's too much freedom. Also they do try to pass TNO as like kinda nonsense like that but when the mod released, they were like "this is a super serious and important story" although knowing who the original devs were and that this mod is involved with reddit a lot, i can easily guess politics got involved and which side of the spectrum (also corroborated by the mods content including hidden content) so it explains why despite being an absolute nonsense dumpster fire of a story, they somehow believed it was super serious and realistic while in reality it's silly and doesn't make any sense. Also i'm one of the seemingly rare people that had no problem with the TNO UI, but even if i did tbh it would be the least of my problems in the mod
