i used to take the first coach bus between 1utama and novena since 2018 because of easier accessibility to my sister's house at balestier. of course, it makes a 20-minute stop in pagoh for both toilet usage and meals. previously, the first coach's pick-up and drop-off point was located at the KPMG tower lobby next to the one world hotel prior to the pandemic. along the journey, the bus traveling to and from 1utama previously used the NKVE and the ELITE highways via the Damansara Jaya (Kayu Ara) toll gate. it's sad to see the closure of its bangsar outlet which is my preferred pick-up and drop-off point since i'm currently staying at bangsar south opposite the tm tower building. the only trouble is i need to take the lrt from universiti and change to mrt to go to 1utama at pasar seni. that's why i prefer to take the aeroline bus from klcc at the corus hotel opposite the iconic twin towers nowadays. nevertheless, i get to see the southbound first coach buses from my apartment at 10am, 12pm and 3pm sometimes after joining the federal highway from kerinchi link.
I am very glad First Coach exists. It is another good option back in my youth travelling to and fro KL-SG if I am not very keen to pay a premium to ride on more upmarket buses like Transtar and Aeroline but yet I still want a safe ride.
First Coach company have another company ( Bulan Restu & Satria Express ) 3company is old from another company. Bulan Restu to Pahang , Satria Express to Kluang, First Coach to Singapore.
Hi, I will be riding this route soon. Im still curious, what do I actually need to do at the immigration checkpoint other than filling the arrival card?
If your passport requires an entry visa into Singapore, do ensure that you have it issued before arrival. Do also ensure that your passport has a validity of more than 6 months. You may also be required to show proof of outbound ticket from Singapore. Other than that and the SG Arrival Card, you are good to go. You may also self-register for the Autogate upon arrival.
Great trip. And yeah welcome back. I'm curious, is on the bus there isn't available seat for Second Captain Coach, so the company decide to reduce seat availability from 27 to 26? And yeah Neoplan Starliner vibes, in the past when I see this coach, is very unique and feels come from another universe. As always, MAN chassis is dominating the Malaysian - Singaporean Coach Market which coming from European. Next trip, how about going north, especially to Malaysian - Thailand Border.
There is a jump seat installed near the door. But the company chose to reserve seat number 1 for the second Coach Captain so that he can have a proper rest. There are other coach companies that have the same arrangement. God-willing, if there is an opportunity, I would want to do a Malaysia-Thai cross border bus in the near future. Thank you for dropping by :)
@@jomnaikbas You should definitely take the Suasana Tony Coach from Hentian Duta to Hatyai. From experience it has wall sockets as well as 2 usb port sockets. I went in 13 Nov 2023 and the journey was 9 hours. (12am-9am) Stopped at Rnr Gunung Semanggol as well as another 30 min stop for breakfast near the border. We went through Bukit Kayu Hitam customs. The price was RM75. Before boarding you must print a ticket at their office.
Actually I went to Novena counter and asking the staff where actually the bus stops at 1 Utama because I used to take First Coach to 1 Utama before covid shutdown. It was v.convenient as it drop-off next to the lobby of the One World Hotel. Firstly I wonder why First Coach stop aligting and aboarding passenger from the office next to lobby hotel One World? And can u guide me this present new alight and boarding at 1 Utama is it still walking distance to One World hotel? And is this pick-up and drop-off attached to 1 Utama shopping mall? I really miss going to 1 Utama shopping malls and staying at One World Hotel. Hope to here from u soon so that I can travel there again soon since the staff I have asked in Novena seems now knowing exactly where First Coach alight/aboard passengers at 1 Utama to know if to One World Hotel is it a walking distance of 10mins perhalps?
Yes, First Coach former pickup and dropoff point used to be at One World Hotel. Due to regulation by local authorities, all express buses can only terminate at the express bus terminal at 1 Utama. The terminal itself is located at the Lower Ground Level of 1 Utama Shopping Centre.
@@jomnaikbas ok noted....thank u so much for all your reply that really helps me in my future travelling. May GOD Bless u with your kind help. Thanks again😊👍
Hi. Very informative video. I just wanted to know if all firstcoach buses pass through tuas checkpoint (2nd link) while going to malaysia and coming back to Singapore?
