I feel you. I found him on SoundCloud when the first ep dropped. Was at his first ever show at a venue. There was maybe 16 people there. I Met him that night, and a year later did a meet and greet. Been to every show since.

Been saying this for years, tbh he’s one of my favorite producers even though the music I make doesn’t sound like it. He wrote a few tracks for Justin Bieber on the last album, he’s got a song he sold to Selena Gomez on top of this one to Halsey too. Pen game is insane

😭 Jon Bellion deserves so much more credit than he gets. He's a musical genius! EDIT I'm not saying he needs to be a mega famous superstar, I just wish he was better known. He's behind some really popular music!
The numbers of views on this video or any video really doesn’t speak for his talents. He’s done well in his career so far. I promise he’s probably very content with where he’s at lol. Go look into just how much he’s had his hands involved in within the industry
My favorite thing about JB is that he’s one of the most talented individuals in the music industry yet he decides to create for the love of music rather than create to become famous or attain status. He’s one of a kind.

It’s a COVID thing, once things are back to normal, he will release his newest albums. It was four to five years between his last two. Letting the genius work for sure
I love Halsey’s version, but Jon sounds so good on this. His tone and feel are just perfect. Also, Halsey made some cool lyrical additions but I prefer Jon’s more straightforward take. Keeping it understated and honest actually makes the storytelling more powerful
@@mamapetes1387 No I’m totally aware that he wrote it. I’m saying I think it’s great that Jon is getting the chance to have a song chart for a big name artist, and I like the final track that Halsey released, but his original version to my ear sounds more authentic and honestly just better.
Considering Halsey writes almost all her music, I was SOOOO suprised to find out Jon wrote this song (most part atleast) even tho Halsey made changes (I like her bridge better, her mom's suggestion slaps) but I love Jon Bellion's version so much too.

Good sir you keep coming up with amazing songs time and time again it's amazing. Seeing you in Toronto was an epic time and it just amazes me how you write your music so amazingly.
I'm actually sick of people uploading against Jon's wishes, it was his one request not to take and upload these. Its probably the reason why he doesn't do as much.
As a huge fan of his that missed out on this opportunity I am extremely thankful I was able to hear this. I was unaware of this concert happening until months after so although I understand he wished this had not been released, selfishly, I'm happy it did because this is beautiful.
“The warning signs can feel like they’re butterflies” and “the hand you want to hold is a weapon” add so much depth to the song. It’s too bad not all his lyrics, especially the bridge one, were not included in Halsey’s final version, though.

I was today years old when I realized Jon made graveyard and I'm currently pretty upset at myself about it bc why TFFF haven't I noticed this sooner??? Like, it's so obvious. When you hear graveyard, you can clearly tell that that's a jon bellion type sound. I also used to listen to it sooo much when it came out and now I know why omg😭😭
I remember Halsey dropping Graveyard and seeing jons name on the credits along with Ojivolta( producers hes always worked with on there too) being so excited. i never expected to hear this demo and just wanted to say its amazing. Halsey and Jon both destroyed this song. Its wonderful.

What is that instrument called at :47??? It's one of my favorite things about Jon's music, that bubbly, synthy, soft instrument thing but I don't know the name of it. Similar to the sound in Luxury, While You Count Sheep, and I Feel It. I'd really appreciate if someone could help me out.

i love this version but i feel like the lower key is throwing me off, maybe just because i’m used to the halsey version. i really do like this version tho
These recordings were all (publicly) leaked once I FEEL IT released. They had been passed around in groups for the year since December. At least people get to hear them now.
