I bought a New Minn Kota Trolling Motor for my Jon Boat, it didn't mount easy, So I had to fabricate and modify brackets to mount it on the Bow. I also added a mini deck on the front. Watch and learn from my mistakes. LOL
*Great little trolling motor **enjoyable.fishing** recommend had it hooked up to my 15 foot old town canoe and it pushed it pretty good with me and my son (220 pounds each).*
I was about to sell my 86# 24v motor not thinking i could turn the head around. Now i do believe i can! Thank you! I'll install a quick disconnect for and it should push my 1448MV just fine!
You actually do not want pressure-treated wood in an aluminum boat. Chemicals in the treated wood will cause aluminum to corrode. If the wood and boat are painted you may be good. Great job on the mount!
The crimpers without the tit are for insulated connectors like what you're working with, they work ok if you have the correct size. The tit is for non insulated crimps
Hey Michael you should have gotten an electrician to wire that up for ya. Lol, still a great video, got a question , which do you prefer fishing out of the jon boat or a kayak?
