Mad Men would not have been Mad Men without Jon Hamm. He underpinned EVERYTHING. Don’t get wrong, I absolutely loved all of the characters n the show, but Don Draper optimised the Madison Avenue of the 60’s. Brilliant show. 👏👏👏👏😎👍

Rob Huebel is another actor who was apparently one of the finalists to play Don Draper, and like Malina, not someone you'd think of as a candidate. But keep in mind "Don Draper" evolved with Hamm, and it likely would've been a very different character with any other actor. With Malina or Heubel, Don Draper is probably a bit more of a hustler type of ad man, almost like a Saul Goodman/Jimmy McGill type.

Congratulations to EVERYBODY that was involved in one of the most MAGNIFICENT pieces of televised drama I have seen thus far (with the possible exception for HBO's "The Sopranos" and maybe "The Shield" put out by FX)....Not JUST to Jon Hamm....The writers, the bit players, the directors, producers, and everyone behind the scenes....Nothing else left to say other than "BRAVOOOOO!!" Madmen...Just as worthy as anything even Shakespeare cranked out.

I am probably not even his fan demographic exactly (thirty females lol) but it is hard not like Hamm. I love him in comedy b/c he is such a handsome dude and somehow it makes his comedy even funnier, like in Bridesmaids making silly faces and such.

@@raymondsims7042 I honestly can't split The Sopranos and Mad Men, but if I absolutely had to, I would choose Mad Men, with The Wire in second. The Wire really was so good especially when you got into the rhythm of it, but just lacked that last ounce of emotion that Mad Men and The Sopranos evoked from me. All great shows

Agreed, don't see Josh as a "Don Draper", lol! BTW, not that this means anything at all, but he's like a 4th or 5th cousin of mine and doesn't know it. Just thought I'd throw that in there for no reason at all other than the fact that I never see Josh Molina's name thrown around in the RU-vid content I tend to frequent!
