I saw Tom Cruise in Top Gun when I was in 7th grade. He was the biggest star at that time. I now have 2 grandkids and he is still making the biggest movies in the world. That is insane!
one of the top 5 Drama series of all time. definitely my favorite. it was so well written. i could watch the entire series, all 7 seasons, beginning to end, at least once a year.
I noticed that whenever Tom Cruise interacts with someone; he places the spotlight on them and really makes them feel... valuable and worthy. For that, he has my respect.
I have no idea about scientology. How exactly is Tom cruise exploiting them? If he is recruiting them and making them follow a set of rules... then thats exactly what every religion does...
I figuratively bumped into Tom Cruise at an MI premier in London a number of years ago. I was walking through a tunnel and when I came out on the other side, Tom Cruise was out there signing autographs, taking selfies with fans. He must have stayed out there for a solid hour and a half. Didn't leave until he saw virtually everyone. I have only respect for him.
If there's one thing about Tom Cruise, it's that he takes promoting his movies very seriously. That's the one thing that really sets him apart (and a few other celebrities as well) from a lot of other stars is that he recognizes that his fame relies on his fans, so he definitely makes sure to be out there for his fans.
I have to say this is unequivocally one of the best sequels of a movie I have ever seen! I was glued from beginning to end…didn’t miss a single second! 👏🏾
Whatever Tom has going on in his personal life, his professional life is what other actors care about. His (Tom) craft, dedication, precision, expectations, is all quite well known at this point. He wants the best, he seeks the best, and he demands the best because he doesn't just put his money where his mouth is, he puts his body where his mouth is. You could say Tom Cruise is the actor/actress version of John Wick when it comes to film making. He is sheer will personified. For that, you have to at least respect him on a professional level.
@@TheJpep2424 To us, maybe. But you can't deny the legacy on filmmaking that Tom is going to leave behind. It's not a surprise that most legends had insane home lives.
This is a feedback that really warm my heart I'm very grateful, thank you so much for supporting and prayers for my career please where are you watching from
sure Tom Cruise is amazing , but lets not undervalue Jon Hamm. Mad Men is still one of the greatest dramas in tv history. phenomenal show, and he's an amazing actor.
Jerry Maguire and Vanilla Sky are incredible performances. Top Gun 1 is a fun guilty pleasure if you haven’t checked it out. And Edge of Tomorrow with Emily Blunt and Oblivion
this is the second story i've heard about TOM showing up at someone's house out of nowhere to watch football..i think his childhood was so dysfunctional that he looks for regular moments to just relax
Being GenX and a teenager in the early 80s, when we saw Risky Business, we bought all in with Tom Cruise. That film was an 80s suburban fairy tale for so many teenage males at that time. And we all wore Ray Bans after that…😎
I went to the film out of the blue, didn't know who is in it, when I saw Jon I was like maaaan what a perfect fit! This is really who you would want to play that role today.
Loved this. John played the part of Cyclone so well I'd say he was the perfect casting. That said the whole film is built on perfect casting which is what makes it so good.
Really? My image of him is completely ruined…. In fact all I see now is little Tommy cruise jumping up & mounting hamm who’s waiting oh so impatiently on ALL FOURS!! BAHAHA
I was a late bloomer to Top Gun. Only because I was born in Sept. 85, and the film was released in 86. So I didn't get to actually see it and take interest until mid-90s. But I get where he's coming from about watching the first film with your parents and then watching this movie. Especially now that I'm a mom and my kids got to see this. It's almost on level of Jurassic Park for me. Seeing JW Dominion with the OG crew and watching it with my kids. It gives all the feels. Love it. =)
Im a fan of his movies but the guy is the leader of an awful cult that defrauds, tortures and harasses its members. He wouldn’t be invited to any of my parties thats for sure
I can see the cops pulling Jon Hamm over for hand-holding his phone while driving and him explaining to the cops...."Umm really guys? You have NO idea how important this call is." Haha.
