Jones really don’t want a fuckinnnnn thing to do with Aspinall. It’s not that he will lose for sure. But he knows he might. I think he knows that stylistically he mauls Alex.
For Jones, this fight with Aspinal doesn't make sense, because if he wins he did his duty and if he loses it will be over. But, against Poatan, he will be beating a feared guy, it would be a good deal for Jon Jones' name. And it looks like Alex is interested in this fight, it would be epic!
To be fair, Alex is great at grappling. He just uses it defensively. Jan Blachowichz tried to grapple him out but couldn't find a significant moment with it.
