Extraordinary musician..composer and person. All genres of music this legendary keyboardist played with precision and depth. Never be another Jon Lord. Thanks for the legacy.

I had the privilege of seeing John perform this piece and others from Sarabande, plus Deep Purple classics, in Dublin a few years before he passed. He was very comfortable with the orchestra, at home with his melodic music.
What a great piece of music. Simple in its design, yet featuring overlapping layers that swirl inside the mind and create little eddies of delight. Jon's compositions were so ingenious. I wish more Americans (my countrymen) would learn to hear and appreciate this type of music. The world needs more great music like this! Thanks, Jon. RIP.
Deep Purple were one of my first heavy rock bands to put an album in my collection. Back in the late 60s early 70s we were long haired surf bum louts listening to music that would never stand the test of time . JL is one of my all time favourite keyboardists along with Roy Phillips the organist with the Peddlers. Just goes to prove that if you play loud rock music it doesn't mean that one is not an accomplished musician. Rock music payed good money

Why I am NOT so surprised when the late great JL managed to compose this masterpiece? The great JL was trained as classical pianist since young and must have had a solid knowledge of The One and Only JS Bach’s compositions. JL ❤❤❤

Este tema ha sido siempre de Jon Lord y figura en su Lp del mismo nombre "Sarabande". Que yo sepa nunca lo grabó con Deep Purple. Al menos no figura en la discografía de DP.
One of my favorite musicians of all time...and he truly shone on the whole Sarabande suite. I miss him greatly, along with the Emersons, Crosbys and Bacharachs of my lifetime. JAT😢❤
Eine meiner meist gehörten Schallplatte mit der "gewissen" Lautstärke. 😊 Jon Lord - ein wahrer Virtuose und Komponist auf der Hammond ... Seine Nachfolgerin: Margherita Gruden aus Italien bei "Strange kind of Women" .
Still my all time favourite album away from Deep Purple. We met on several occasions in Germany and the UK and I treasure those moments. What a guy, what a loss!
