Joseph Küffner (Kueffner) (March 31, 1776 in Würzburg - September 9, 1856 in Würzburg) was a German musician and composer, a contemporary of Beethoven. This quintet by Küffner for clarinet and strings was once attributed to Carl Maria von Weber and is still recorded in collections of Weber's music.
I was actually surprised when I started listening to this work "by Weber" and I heard the intro. Did *he* write this? Weber is in my opinion a little square.
@Leo Smart The piece in this video is written by Küffner. www.prestomusic.com/sheet-music/products/8331093--joseph-kuffner-introduction-theme-and-variations
