You can remove punk and that fight from the situation and you still have Chris Jericho, Sammy , the two guys who slapped Sammy, the bucks feeding stories to the sheets, Miro and the other ex wwe guys realizing the grass wasnt greener on the other side, Tony Khan being the new Eric Bischoff. When that company goes under, you'll be surprised with how long it lasted .
On top of that, Mox called out that people would take what he said out of context. He literally said something like "most people are cool" right after.
@@arturorivera6173 mean sure? Would that just detail giving Tony more control over the wrestlers social media like WWE does? For the most part WWE talent usually have to be cryptic with expressing their problems with their employer through social media.
if social media was around back then i'd feel like the mass transit incident would've had a much bigger impact on wrestling than just being the kiss of death for ECW.
This loops so perfectly😂makes it sound like Moxley is just about finished with making his point, where Renee is about to chime in, but then the loop makes it seem like he cuts her off and starts telling the same exact story again🤣
It really is damning for AEW. Mox was putting up with Vince's BS for 8 YEARS, and yet his 3 years in AEW has had more drama lol This is what happens when you have a "fan" as a boss instead of a BOSS as a boss.
He hit the nail on the head - social media makes the situation way worse - there have always been locker room skirmishes, but they were always dealt with in-house - nowadays, someone’s only got to raise their voice and it’s all over social media, often exaggerated to make it into a ‘story’
Physical sport and activity competition whatever has the ability to make guys get chippy and fight. They do get over it, though. Corporatism has made it seem unprofessional but that needs to be discipline and score settling - *𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚𝙨* . But squeamish people refuse to believe it.
At some point you just have to do what is right for the company Of course that means to sacrifice some wrestlers desires but hey that's life Not everybody has cool ideas and visions
AEW was obliterated in the ratings against WWE ever since Triple H took the Helm as the head of the creative. Tony Khan runs AEW like it's a passion project and not a legitimate business.
I dont know if he wants to make everyone happy but he does want to make SVP Dave Meltzer and his niche internet community. Personally, I think AEW has been good for wrestling but I also think Tiny Khan is the worst possible thing for AEW.
TK's not a promoter. He's a mark with a lot of money playing the role of a promoter & head booker; buying wrestlers like they're collectibles. How do you run 5 hours of TV and are unable to use any of it to properly build feuds to draw fans? Because he's too busy chasing "stars" from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter to care about how viewership & fan attendance are in the toilet.
I think he means in general unless "drunken fucking tweet" was referred to the straight edge which would make alot of sense given how fast he deleted that post.
They're doing what the old days were doing they build up drama it sells tickets it's going to be a gray storyline but they're blurring the line between reality with peeking in the interviews this will be a great work in a great summer for aew
While I agree AEW needs an Undertaker-ish locker room leader, the problem first and foremost lies with Tony Khan. If TK won't give someone the authority to lay down the law and then back them when talent comes crying to him, it doesn't matter how effective a locker room leader they could be, they will just be circumvented and nothing will change except yet another veteran will get sick and tired of the childishness and leave. When I look at who is in AEW now, maybe Adam Copeland can do something in the locker room, but the biggest change has to be TK and if TK won't change, then the locker room culture won't change.
I respect the fact that Tony Khan is trying to successfully run AEW but he's not a wrestler's promoter not like Vince McMahon or Triple H. I don't wanna see AEW go down the road that WCW went when at the end of the WCW era
100 percent agree, I don't watch AEW and never will. But wrestling fans need a healthy, AEW, WWE, ROH, impact, NJPW, MLW, we need them all to succeed. When they all succeed we can maybe get back to the golden years of wrestling. All all these promotion's need to work together once a year and throw a big a** PPV, I think it would be amazing.
its to late . he lets the elite do everything they want and say. they are way overrated as a tag team also. this may be like the finger poke of doom, maybe im wrong.
@@markheckman2196Great idea.... Personally, I'd like to see someone with a great wrestling mind who's not self absorbed & with the financial backing to start a new top teir company... When AEW started, I was happy there was a company to be an alternative to WWE but over time at about the time Cody left, I started to see what was going on and I was always a fan of The Elite but they shouldn't be in positions of power because of the negative influence they have on the product.... And Tony Khan has proven to be an inept leader & Booker and I don't see any real improvement with these people at the helm so I'd like to see someone more credible starting a new company that is true completion to WWE without all the BS...
I agree, as a wrestling fan since I was 4yrs old, now I'm 44. I think if AEW wants to continue to grow somebody needs to stand up and say enough of this BS!!!
Cody left mainly cause it was nothing really left for him to do there, also he does want to become WWE champ which is what his dad didn’t do and putting the AEW belt on himself doesn’t really count but you’re right, this could be another reason.
For people saying that Punk is the root of all the drama, Punk was in WWE for the majority of Moxley's time there and apparently didn't cause much drama because it's a place of professionals.
So I don't know where you got your information from, but Jon moxley, AKA Dean Ambrose debuted on the main roster in WWE in 2012. CM Punk left WWE in 2014, so no he was not there for the majority of moxley's WWE run. He was only there for maybe a quarter of it.
@@williamletarte2481Either way, Jon was in WWE when Punk would've been at his "worst" and still said AEW had more drama than any other locker room he had been in.
@@SupraViperhead oh I'm not denying that aew is full of drama. I was just saying that your comment wasn't exactly true. Like I said, Punk was only there for less than 2 years during moxley's 8 year WWE run.
@@williamletarte2481 ok but there were still no issues when moxley was there so he can still say punk wasnt causing drama like what LMFAO he was still there and got to know punk
I agree, even from day one, even with the dirtsheets on CM Punk, I felt like the EVPs had it out for CM Punk for "heat" reasons. When I saw the dirtsheets saying that CM Punk got into arguments with EVP's (The Elite), I felt like they're feeling overshadowed by CM Punk. Im like... BRO... YOU ARE EVP, ITS YOUR JOB to MAKE MONEY. If I was EVP, I would let AEW do its thing. CM Punk draw at the same time. Bro. Its business.
You would be correct, Moxely. Because of social media, everybody losing their minds. But AEW it's too many soldiers and not enough generals or vice-versa
As a CM punk fan i agree with Moxely. Punk shouod have not wasted his time trying to be "that locker room leader". The thing i like about Punk the most is he says whats in his mind. And he isnt scared to say it to your face vs these people who talk trash online. Real life actions have real life consequences.
The problem with Punk is his delivery. The Undertaker wasn't confrontational as the lockerroom leader. Sting wasn't this way. Bret Hart wasn't this way. Neither were Stone Cold Steve Austin or The Rock.
@@itsbullzie Yes, he lost in a match that was really anticipated. Until Mox pushed the idea of beating punk in 3 minutes a week before. Stupid idea and was only done to stroke Moxley's ego.
Lol true. Now that we know a lot more details though I think its torn. His comeback promo had heel vibes. I think that's where Punk excels at, being the chip on his should CM Punk. His whole "Counterfeit Bucks" line was gold.
They do it and then you folks start crying about them making it too difficult for the "casual fan" There's no winning with the AEW haters , that's why they're taking more liberties as of late , they're starting to give less of a sh*t about what the Gareths and Junkies of the audience think
I feel you man. You are not the only one who got tired of drama that surrounding all over the Internet from AEW to outside Pro Wrestling like The Last Of Us Part 2 and DC Universe drama. I mean can we all just be adults who were just working and enjoying with things?
im sure he has a wenis, that makes him a man. im sure he could provide for his family 100,000,000 times better than you could, that also makes him a man.
People acted as if AEW is the only wrestling promotion filled with dramas. Well back in the days, WCW, ECW, and WWE had a lot of dramas of their own too. Let me put a list: WCW: Jim Herd and Ric Flair, Goldberg and Jericho, Eddie Guerrero and Eric Bischoff, Ric Flair and Eric Bischoff, Hogan and Russo, Russo and Goldberg, Goldberg and Kevin Nash, Scott Hall being intoxicated on TV, Brian Pillman and Kevin Sullivan. WWE: HBK and Bret Hart, Bret Hart and Vince McMahon, Booker T and Batista, Vince McMahon with Moolah and Wendy Richer, Nailz and Vince McMahon, CM Punk and HHH, Charlotte and Becky, JBL and Mauro Ranallo and everybody in the locker room.
So basically Punk was telling the truth about Mox not wanting to lose unless he beat Punk first. But bottom line is Tony Khan needs to step in and step up as the boss.
Punk is business... He's old school but never refused to loose to anyone... Apart from roman reigns rest of the 2 shield members are crybabies... It's crazy how roman reigns turned out to be good of three 😂😂... Cm punk recognized it and gave credit to roman as he's only beef was he was not the original shield member... We know for sure Chris Jericho and the elite loves spotlight....
Maybe we will get a SHIELD reunion sooner rather than later! If we don't get both a triple treat match between the 3 of them at a major PLE, plus a tag team match with the 3 of them kicking ass.
Jon moxley has so much talent it's hard to believe is wrestling is point on hardstyle I'd love to see him get the championship again I don't think a swerve Strickland can go 5 minutes with him.
Sometimes when someone doesn't sure I love how the beginning of it the ending of it somehow fit together where it just makes a perfect circle. So you're listening from the beginning and then you get to the end and then it sounds like the end is starting the beginning just listen to it you can listen to it over and over again and it sounds like it's the same conversation
@@ezstreete thanks I appreciate it but now I wasn't drunk and it does go into a complete circle the end of it goes into the beginning of it maybe you don't understand what I'm trying to say here it's okay to be ignorant also I'm using the stupid talk at that thing works like shit and I'm too lazy to try to go and fix anything this is one of the few times I actually went back to fix something so you can understand what I'm saying
That's speaking volumes considering he was Amelia High school Class of 2004. There was a lot of bullshit that went on then too. Miss ya Jon. Hope you're well. -Hesler
It’s because the boss tries to be everyone’s fan and everyone who works there is so young some of them can’t legally drink so obviously they’ll get petty
@@boredbitch666It totally is the reason but he won't say itcdue to a non disclosure agreement I'm sure... The politics are also why Frankie Kazarian , Bobby Fish, William Regal, & Jade Cargill left and many others are unhappy & ready to leave when their contracts are up....
He’s correct, thanks to a lot of social media and such, this just got a lot more attention than it actually needed because there are hundreds of stories of wrestlers, not even just wrestlers, it happens with NFL, NBA, and other sports where off camera there have been fights and scuffles just because someone said or did something. This is nothing new to the business. It’s really annoying that AEW decided “Let’s show the clip and bring up drama for views.” It’s honestly just sad they had to do that but even then it showed how desperate they are.
Yes, and AEW is now a perfect world with unicorns, rainbows, free money & everyone sitting around a campfire singing kum by ah because Edge has arrived starting a "New Era" (which TK promised, right???) I really can't wait to see how this story unfolds....
A lot of drama over 1 person & social media definitely doesn't help cause everyone wants to come out with an opinion & a lot of ppl can't tell the difference between opinions & facts thinking their opinions are facts then you've got those ppl who get hardcore feelings involved over something so petty in the end
Yeah probably Moxley didn’t really shoot Punk very hard but the part one person want to make a stupid tweet he was probably referring to punk but how ever I’ve think Cm Punk was finally defending himself since we never heard a single thing from Punk and the other side is blistering him behind his back so I’m glad Punk finally responded and as for Jon Moxley rocky idea it was a bad idea but I think he probably wanted to do it to protect himself witch it’s fine and as for his response right now he was very professional
@@ezstreete Punk responded last year when Dave Meltzer made report about something between Punk and Moxley and of course Punk responded to that with an Instagram story telling us what really happened
There was more than just CM Punk issues, like Andrade and Sammy, even Eddie and Sammy.. Thunder Rosa and Britt. If you’re gonna comment, at least be knowledgeable. There’s been plenty of issues besides CM Punk related ones.
And now Renee is literally working pre-taped angles with the idiots that cause the most drama to establish on screen gimmicks that reference their bullshit drama. You can’t make this shit up.
