I wish Jon and Dwight Yoakam would make a record together just as Dwight did with Buck Owens back in the 80s; I think it would be quite awesome for the two generations of the Bakersfield sound to get together.

Always liked Dwight’s music and style myself…Jon I’ve only seen you on You Tube or TV but I’ve seen you cover people from B&D to Keith Whitley, and Merle Haggard and Joe Diffie, and back around to Whitney Houston…..you are a true artist and entertainer and I hope some day I get to see you in concert….your own music is awesome as well but it’s cool seeing an artist put their own sound on someone else’s song. How about you just do an entire 1990s cover. If your not too old & if/when You finished that then start at 1989 and work your way down. I seriously would listen to nothing else. Just your covers of some of the best country music ever recorded. Your that damn good! I'm waiting for your cover of the corvette song By the possum and Southern nights by Glen Campbell.
