Its a well written script, because Jon didnt introduced himself with bragging rights. Danny on the other hand... Wanted others to recognize why she is queen. Jon is quite a simple man, thats probably why Danny is so interested and confused at the same time. Wouldnt blame her cuz all she had seen were shitty kings and queens.

Honestly, I've followed Dany since the beginning but there was always something off. Jon is a true leader and a great man. But something inside tells me he doesn't want the throne. He just wants his home safe. Winterfell is all he's known and anything else is nothing to him. Because family comes first. And that comes from Ned bringing him up. Though in the Nightswatch, all he cared about was his family and home. I'm not sure what Jon will do now... But what happens, I know his heart will be in the right place because he is a good man. Maybe he is the best of Stark and Targaryen. Until the last episode we won't know. But Winterfell will always come first. Even before Dany.

Since Ghost is still alive, she will probably meet him, just as Jon/Aegon has meet her dragons. Dany's dragon are a a part of her, her children as she says, and Ghost is a part of Jon, kinda like his soul in a way. It would be weird if the left him out, even though I felt like Ghost was ignored in Season 7.

Jaime was actually warning him about the weight of the oath Jon was about to take because both of them at that age rushed it when it came to oaths. Jaime was the same age or even younger than Jon when he joined the kingsguard and the shit he had to go through with the Mad King pretty much fucked him up. Jon also got fucked in the Night's Watch because it wasn't what he thought it would be and he died for it.

I always saw it as Jaime's way of dissuading Jon from joining the Night's Watch.
