the only criticism I have is he called them both "equally competent". That's a blatant lie. Trump hemorrhaged government positions like crazy due to either them getting into scandals, them quitting because he kept throwing them under the bus or undermining their actual job, or him firing them for trying to keep him from committing crimes.

It was a pleasure watching this with my now-adult kids (22 and 24) who were too young to appreciate Stewart before he departed the Daily Show in 2015. This is the best way. We get the best of Jon without the burnout, and the Daily Show can operate as a 'news team' the rest of the week. I have no problem with Desi, Jordan, Roy, or anyone else on the team sitting behind the desk. I love them all, and Jon will set the tone each week.

Think I've watched the daily show like 20 times since Jon left. Back in the day I'd watch first daily show then colbert report on my laptop while eating breakfast as a teenager. While Jon at the Daily Show once a week isn't Jon and Colbert 4 times a week, I'll take what I can get and believe me, I'm very happy about it.
