@@farmlyfe5859lol no it isn’t. A bad actor is someone you can tell is acting. A good actor, you wouldn’t be able to tell if they’re acting or if it’s genuinely who they are. Whether they play a science nerd or mob boss. They’d play both so well you’d wonder if that’s who they are in real life. That’s a good actor. Michael cera isn’t a great actor. He’s not terrible either. I think he gets parts for which his actual personality just fit so he doesn’t have to do much acting. All of his characters have been shy and awkward. Aside from This Is The End where’s he’s doing nothing but coke and acting like a coke head. He played a real good coke head. 😂
@@OlivetheDoge No, it's in the final unrated cut of the film, which is the only version I have ever watched. Not sure if it's in the theatrical release or not.
Yeah that’s a good point, that show was just improvise after improvise with some of the best to ever do it.. he probably spent all day just focusing on not breaking
God I love Arrested Development seasons 1-3. I think it may be the best comedy ever in terms of sheer hilarity and frequency of laughs. There are comedies with more heart like The Office (US) that are also funny but have more substance to them, and there’s also a lot of animated comedies that come close like The Simpsons, Futurama, South Park, King of the Hill… yeah now I’m finding it hard to choose.
my bro Jonah I am having this awesome human years watching you been yourself in movies , seasons of life comes and go but the escence is what brings the magic, please receive a hug to the soul
I mean this movie is about virgin high school boys, with the ultimate fantasy of getting laid. They are middle aged men now, no longer need to make fake IDs so they can purchase booze. So, I just wonder what "Superbad 2" would be about or how it can be a sequel to the movie? Perhaps, "Superbad 2 - Hooking Up With Space Alien College Seniors" I donmo just. Just throwing ideas out there! 😬😬😬🤷🤷🤷🤔🤔
@@almonds8895It could easily be about another issue they have. The movie takes place a few months before the end of high school for them, that gives plenty of room for something else to happen. But it only would have worked if they shot it soon after, because Jonah Hill and Christopher Mintz-Plasse sort of aged out of the high school teen look. Michael Cera still looks young as ever though.
As a kid, Super bad seemed really funny. When I became a man the movie was clearly recognized as the degenerate, dime a dozen, dick and fart joke flick so emblematic of hollyweird 'comedy' that it truly is. Ace Ventura sucks, always has.
@@girthbrooks39you sound insufferable, any sophisticated person who appreciates film and comedy knows Superbad is still a high level movie as an adult, Jonah Hill is cringe and he makes up most of the dumb lines himself but Michael Cera, Bill Hader, Seth Rogen and the Mclovin actor are all top notch and the comedic timing is great. You sound very pretentious
This movie is a perfect example of how great writers, the right cast and director can make comedy gold. It could’ve been just another sophomoric teen movie but it stands the test of time in that it gets funnier with age.
This is because Hill had a reputation for being arrogant long before Superbad so it’s not surprising Mike (i know him on a first name basis) wasnt easy to crack up.
Jonah Feldstein hissed at a journalist and threatened her when she was fact-checking his heritage and early life...And Michael Cera doesn't like him, in the slightest. Which is hilarious
Sounds like cera was in controll of you my brother. I would love to be in one of your films mr Hill to the absolute fullest it would be an amazing experience to say the least imaginable.
He probably saw things in the world that could use some change, and wanted to let you know change was coming. It came and through it, we witnessed love but then we witnessed hell and now we are in whatever this world currently is.
