Jim Downey is playing Andy's father he has been an SNL writer since he showed up the same day that Bill Murray did and they even shared an office. The guy is a brilliant writer and probably wrote this sketch.

The crazy part is they actually have chemistry

I would pay top dollar for a sketch comedy show exclusively starring Jonah hill and the 2008 SNL cast. The episode was way above average. Their senses of humor just meshed so well.

One of the most random, yet brilliant SNL Digital Shorts that they've ever done. The first time I saw this I was laughing so hard I was weeping, just my god what an uncomfortable situation to be in if you're Andy Samberg lol.

Jim Downey! Man when he shows up on camera it's always rare but noteworthy (like his "we're all dumber" speech from Billy Madison). His commitment level is crazy here, but even crazier is that he's an SNL legend; head writer during IMO its peak years, there since the Bill Murray days.

How have I never seen this before? Bill Hader at the end though. Comedy gold.
