Kiwis owe a debt of care to this mans family, and any other family in the future, that they should NEVER be subject to such immoral, unethical and downright SCUMBAGS like that "lawyer" to leave them powerless to his betrayal of Jonahs memory!! What kind of "Law Society" wouldn't see this lawyers actions as unethical or at the very least, a conflict of interest??!!! Christopher Robert Darlow is an extremely clever Lawyer and has taken advantage of Jonah. Why didnt Jonah make his wife the beneficiary he loved her dearly, Nardine and the two boys were everything to him. If Jonah has signed everything over to his Lawyer then it will be his and it will be up to him to decide what happens? Its such a shame that Jonah's wife and son's are not entitled to Jonah's Legacy I am sure Jonah would be so hurt by what has happened. Does Christopher not have a family or any kind of morals? I was always told where theres money there is greed. I pray that good will come out of this and that things will be made right for Jonah's sake and his wife and two boys. Jonah deserves this to be made right he is one of New Zealands greatest Icons in our Rugby heratage.

The actions of that Lawyer are so discusting it makes me feel sick! He should be disbared. How can a lawyer get away with this?! And make himself the main beneficiary? Lomus poor boys. How heart breaking. I hope they get their justice and that Lawyer gets what he deserves.

So why did Jonah leave everything of monetary value to his Lawyer.? Maybe that was his true love or Jonah owed him alot of money.. Does what Jonah did and ask for not matter? Its sad and especially when theres multiple marriages, children and legalities. My opinion is his children should have been looked after financially. But the law is the law. No man is above it.

There's something missing in this story. So your telling me that when Nadine married Lomu and had kids with him she didn't know who's house she was living in and who's paying for the bills, cars etc etc and then finds out his sick later on and still didn't want to sort out his estate, money etc etc before he dies. I find that very hard to believe. He must be a bloody good lawyer

sad thing about trusts & wills they got to be worked out when the person is alive cause once they die that will or trust is a legal document and hard to fight for anyone many family's around the world are victims of not ensuring all that stuff is taken care of while the person is alive...noting should be left to chance and the wife or husband need to have a legal copy of the will or trust so both can go over it and ensure it meets each others needs you don't trust anyone else to control it

I think Jonah’s neglect of his assets and making sure all his affairs were in order is where it went wrong. We can blame the lawyer all we want but He could only successfully do because Jonah allowed it. It’s such a sad story and someone did mention it’s the fight between ethics and legality. Which this lawyer obviously acted for the best of his interest.
