Exquisite othello,me and my daughter saw this in Vienna,my 80th birthday gift,2 days show,I was in heaven,I waited for him at the exit after the show, talk to him.I flew from Toronto,Canada just to see him and I was not disappointed,beautiful as usual,my favorite tenor 4:11

I'm trying to find the ultimate accolade to bestow on Jonas Kaufmann for that performance. "Stunning, magnificent, phenomenal, genius, masterful, powerful, outstanding, magical, beautiful, brilliant wonderful.." Yes, he was ALL of these, yet these words are still not good enough to describe the very great artistry of Jonas Kaufmann. I'll just sit here and weep with emotion at the privilege of seeing/hearing such a moving, inspired interpretation of Otello and witnessing this fantastic. world-renowned Tenor in action.
