She lost because of her arrogance. Her attitude of entitlement, and her non likability. Without California and New York, she actually lost the popular vote. Thank God.
@@carlostorres6114 We are not a democracy. We are a representative republic. The popular vote doesn’t matter for a reason. The electoral college matters, otherwise states like California and New York would decide elections.
Re: Tim Kaine as V.P. Kaine was a former DNC chair who stepped down creating the vacancy in which Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (HRC's former '08 campaign chair...) was elected. You cannot tell me this wasn't an insider-game from the start. If DNC Chair DWS puts her finger on the scale the primary to ensure HRC the nomination, then Kaine gets the VP slot for as a kickback for stepping down as DNC chair, and enabling DWS to get the position.
I knew he was going to win. I tweeted out my own custom electoral map that had him winning 2 weeks before and I was very very close, I only called NV wrong.
I knew he was going to win. In mid October I drove all over the Midwest and there was mile after mile after mile of Trump Signs!! HildaBEAST Is just plain FUGLY and repulsive -- a criminal with 64+ dead bodies dragging behind her six axe handled ass
"Listen Liberal: Or, What Ever Happened to the Party of the People?" by Thomas Frank is a must for any progessive trying to understand what has been happening. I recommend the Audible version because the author's reading expresses his contempt for the neoliberals who have brought us down. www.goodreads.com/book/show/25666062-listen-liberal
Incredible insight into the Clinton strategy at 46:15. This is why she never bothered to try to persuade voters. Data analytics basically gave her all the cover and justification she needed to avoid REAL campaigning.
Chad Baker correct! They said she is cautious. She's not a risk taker. They should have used the analytics to see where they needed to go because it was a risk. This shows she doesn't know the true meaning of what campaigning means. It is to persuade people to vote for you because you want them to believe in your message. But she did not have a message. A la useless use data analytics.
Chad Baker As a data analyst, I'm a little embarrassed by the punditry that many people try to pass off as analysis. It was clear that there was a way for her to lose, and her team ignored it. Meanwhile, data analysts for the Trump campaign were the ones who saw the potential upset in the Midwest.
Bernie was hamstrung by DWS reducing the number of debates in the primary from 25 to 6 and preventing the candidates from participating in any debate not ran by the DNC If there were more debates there would have been more of a chance of Bernie doing what Obama did. DWS knew this so she drastically reduced debates
Yes, I voted for Trump. I never voted for the Clintons. I respected Hillary when she stood up for her husband. I felt sorry for her when he repeated his mistakes and her and Chelsey were mortified with his behavior in the white house. I don't like her enough to vote for her. She comes across negatively, not like-able.
By not providing context for Sanders’ supporters’ anger, Allen and Parnes advance the denigrating portrayal of his base as unruly. In truth, his supporters had every right to be angry. So Allen and Parnes are republican?
They're just trying to make a buck. However, they did say that Bernie had no chance of winning because of the way Hillary screwed up the delegates. New Hampshire is the best example of that. I don't know how this evil woman is so smart to think she could become President by delegates alone. Did it ever occur to her that she would need actual votes?????
I’m not stupid enough to vote for Hillary, lousy candidate. I didn’t vote for either of them, because I felt that they were going to drive America into the ground. I got to the part concerning her concession speech and how her staff tried to get her to rally the resistance against, and she just wanted to step aside graciously and start a peaceful transition, and didn’t want it to be too political. I felt a lot of respect for her for acting so mature and she put aside her pain and put the country first.... ....fast forward and then Hillary Clinton is going on a “woe is me, buy my book” tour, blames everyone under the sun for her loss, said nasty things about everyone and the Democratic Party, effectively canceling out her gracious concession, and now I have even less respect for the woman today than I had for her before she even ran for president.....sad.
The book whitewashed much of her criminal activity - tried to give the impression that she had "won her case" over Gaza - these guys were not neutral in their writing.
The one thing I have never heard anyone say, including the media is this. She isn't the only one who got beat. 16 other Republican hopefuls got beat as well. The public was and still is fed up with career politicians. Trump won because the USA is freaking fed up and tired of career politicians. and here we are 3 years later and they still don't get it...
Great book and confirmation of how overly and compulsively packaged she was for public consumption. I understand most politicians do this but it's hard for me to believe many go to the extent she and her team did.
Sanders would have won had she not BEGUN with all of those Superdelegates, amongst other shenanigans. Bernie Sanders had a definite message, didn’t he? #FDR 101+Healthcare 4 All Americans.
Shadoobie. My brain’s been battered. My friends come around they flatter, flatter, flatter, flatter, flatter, flatter, flatter. Pile it up. Pile it high on the platter.
Hindsight 20/20: if they were bitching about Iowa then, they would’ve totally lost it wth the most recent Iowa caucus, because damn, , that was a total disaster!
Even if Clinton had eked out a narrow win, it would've been a disappointment. She was running against a tremendously weak opponent, with strong institutional advantages.
That why Trump didn't want to debate Sanders because he said he would have lost against Sanders and Trump wanted to run again Hillary Clinton and Sanders is like by independents and the youth voters and more bullshit from you because open primary Sanders crushed and in close primary
