I like how it's right there in the title, Frakes himself spells it like 'Jonathan,' and most people spell it like that as well, and yet you SIR have the audacity to add an unnecessary 'H' for no GOD DAMN REASON. Why would you disrespect Picard's number one by adding that fucking 'H.'
@@QixTheDS I've seen that before, especially with Frakes. Apart from the fact that people think "John" is short for "Johnathan," which it rarely is, I think this particular misspelling has been propagating for a while because when people first read the name, they're likely to internalize that spelling (especially if it's a weird spelling like this, which is memorable, and which you might assume people wouldn't use if they didn't know it to be correct). So it only takes one incorrect video title to give a whole lot of people the wrong idea. Believe me when I say that you can start thinking most other people are wrong.

He injured his back on a job he had just before landing Trek. He found that leaning to one side and resting his leg on raised surfaces helped to take a lot of weight and pressure off of the inured nerves, so it was written into his character. He's also 6'3", and it's common for tall people to have back issues in general.
Data: It appears that Commander Riker resembles that of an actor who lived from the 20th-21st Century, lauded for his performance as Commander William Riker in Star Trek: The Next Generation and David Xanatos in Gargoyles, of which many of the counterparts who played us were involved in many ways. For example... Picard: Yes Mr Data and In that other reality we are characters in fiction. Riker’s visit to that world has certainly boggled his mind. Dr Crusher: He’ll make a recovery but it’s... an odd existential crisis he is going through.
Fun fact: He only ever said “I’m Jonathan Frakes” once. Every other time, he’s just mouthing the line while a recording of the original line plays over him. This technique allowed the studio to save several thousand dollars.
Dude I’m high and halfway through I became convinced that his name wasn’t johnathan and had to pause it to figure out what his name actually was and why he randomly started calling himself johnathan 😂😂😂
For years, I thought his last name was Franks. Needless to say when my brain finally decided to read his name correctly, watching TNG one day, I was shocked for a while.
If Jonathan Frakes watches this clip, I'm certain he will have an existential crisis. First it will start in the hands, they're shaking, they don't look right in his eyes, turning them over and back doesn't help. He'll reach up, grasping at his beard, his mustache, his hair on his head, aggressively with each as if he forgot what hair was. He'll have to check a mirror and stare in confusion at lost blue pits where a person should be, unraveling for days on end.
