It's funny how so many people simply assume he was gay not that it would matter but he was not gay. He was very in love with his wife of many years. Had he been gay, he would not have been the type to hide it; at least not after 1970. I doubt he would have ever hidden it like Rock Hudson did. Rock had no choice because he was a leading man and the fantasy on screen was of course him with women but can you imagine how hard it is for gay people to kiss opposite sex on screen? It's like for straight people kissing same sex shoot after shoot for a film trying to be romantic so it takes a good actor to do all that.
i think smith and the robot could have made there own show ..call it ..never fear smith is here ...it be funny because the robot and smith was always funny
