Sigh.... Yeah I almost forgot about Depp! But you're right unfortunately. I wish ppl including them used their brains/nuance more smh. Thanks for commenting!
i think Jonathan majors was a fantastic actor at the time it was the woke writers holding him back. i think he portrayed kang really well and tbh it definitely feels wasteful on marvels part to get rid of him after already investing so much time into his character and the kang dynasty i hope that he may return to the big screen in the future. While I'm excited for RDJs return to the MCU i feel it ultimately undermines the death of ironman in endgame even though it's not the same character it is the same actor and in my mind it dishonors that sacrifice.
What exactly do you mean by "woke writing?" It seems like up until ant-man, ppl were fine with his writing? And yeah I def agree about RDJ's DOOM casting undermining his iron man. I don't think enough time has passed since endgame tbh. And I don't think the universe has properly dealt with or acknowledged his death either
@@RoliverQueenReviews just a lot of what Disney describes as "progressive plotlines" a lot of fans don't typically care for the whole DEI thing especially when it feels forced or isn't of any value to the story as a whole it was honestly pretty light in most of the films he stared in but it was still there and that's really my only gripe with newer MCU movies. what it seem like these days is that Hollywood doesn't listen to the majority instead they listen to the minority with loud voices that's why there's a whole lot of forced diversity equity and inclusion in most media these days. that's why Deadpool and Wolverine was such a breath of fresh air and exactly what the fans needed. As for RDJ I agree with what you said about Jonathan Majors basically being the scapegoat for marvel to move in a different direction my feelings on it are really the same as yours it's to soon and i even think it shouldn't happen at all but i think the MCU will be better off for it.
Well I didn't like what happened to them in their personal lives as problems but I love Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror, He Who Remains, Victor Timely, Immortus, Rama Tut, Scarlet Centurion and all its variants, Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man and Ezra Miller as Flash. And also as actors.
When asked if he would like to have the same opportunity as Downey Jr. and Miller, Majors said, "It's tough. Come on, yeah." Jonathan Majors' response sounds like an expression of interest and ambition, acknowledging that achieving the same level of success and recognition as Robert Downey Jr. and Ezra Miller is a considerable challenge. By saying "It's hard. Come on, yeah," he conveys that despite the difficulties associated with reaching that level in the entertainment industry, he is willing and excited for the opportunity. His tone suggests a mix of realism about the obstacles involved and excitement about the possibility of following a similar career path.
Hell yeah! I def agree. I didnt see any sort of malice, Ill will, or any other negativity in the comments. I too hope he can get that redemption arc like RDJ. Thanks for commenting!
"I think it's only fair that Mr. Downey has been met with patience, curiosity and love and that [Ezra] Miller has received the same treatment," Majors said. "And that they're allowed to work on their art and be creative at that level... I didn't really understand it."
