I’ve known this man since high school. I was one of the guys in his wrestling clip in his update video and to see him go through all this is heartbreaking, but to see everybody come together and help him out is absolutely amazing

The gear you gave at the end, he said, "Can we give it away?". He uses only the iPhone, should have gotten him 3 phones, and a lot of accessories then shown him an account with at least 100K in it, from all the youtubers. Good luck Jonathan, you're a real hero, and I pray you'll bounce back. You look great despite being through all you have, keep pushing forward.

Teary eyed. These guys are the same age as mine and they’ve influenced the mobile tech landscape from when it was just beginning to be redefined in the 2010’s. Reminds me gotta be good all the time.

Man what a “full-circle” moment. Been watching these people for the past 13+ years. Jon really is one of the humblest people and seeing so many creators I look up to come together is such a treat. Still remember how heartbreaking it was to see Austin lose everything and how Jon and Lew showed up. I knew the community would respond to Jon and thankful for the man he is! This video is such a great reminder of the power of showing up- especially when you know someone is going through hard times. So thankful to see the creators I love do the things that matter most!

Around 4 years ago I was in a deep depression and he helped me out without knowing me and asked nothing back. He’s a great guy and deserves pure love and support.

As someone that went through some stuff myself, I can understand that he needs simplicity now in order to be creative… cause having more tech to record could be a barrier… hopefully he just creates cool shit, no matter the gear…

Asking for help is hard. Accepting help is whole different game

I was a kid when I first watched John, and the whole Team Crispy back in the day. I even remember Austin’s help video of what happened with his home. Honestly it feels surreal watching all of them throughout the years and being so unique and inspiring. I was 13 when I found out about these guys making RU-vid videos, I am 23 now and believe or not they inspired me getting into the tech world as a whole, that it got me to become an engineer. Thank you guys for all these years, and for the years to come. John you’ve got our support ❤

For most of my post HS years I’ve been in something of my own crucible and when I finally got on me feet, got married, one of the first things I did was go buy my life long friend and his wife a new MacBook Pro (they had a 2013 air that was on its last leg) because they had to leave their dance studio and start their own company and because they had been a crucial support for years for me. The way Johnathan reacts at the end makes me feel physically uncomfortable but when you bless and give greatly to those who invested in others for YEARS, this is how generous people react. Jonathan I grew up in your videos, I can’t wait to see what you do next. Please know You are being loved and blessed, not because you are incapable or helpless but because everyone needs a hand in life just like you do now, just like you have done for so many others.

Fantastic video. I went to watch John Morrison's video (SHhhh, don't tell him I wasn't a subscriber) so I knew the context. This is impactful. The moral from this is paramount. You know who has you when you are falling. If you don't, reach out. You know how heavy your burden is, and you know when it is too much. Let your pride go and let your circle carry some of it for you. I come from a place of understanding regarding shoving the pride to the side and allowing those around oneself help bear the weight. The pain may not last forever or it may, but your closest within that circle will always be there for you.
