@@ace-studio2032 actually u don’t know that. Since crisis changed everything maybe Superman and Batman have met. Also maybe Superman knows why Batman left but is keeping it a secret.
It is worth mentioning. I believe that since the last talk they had concerning her miscarriage and being on the team, he has stepped up his game. Remember too before Jordan got his powers Jonathan was the physically strong one so I expect him to be a line of defense for his brother and his mom
That tackle and dodge was far too quick to be natural human I think he has all the powers but can't access them consciously cause of plot reasons maybe cause of Jordan or mental block brought in by crisis
@@racquelharris2458 I'd really love if Jonathan only had some powers, like speed, maybe frost breath/lazer eyes, maybe be the intellectual one Meanwhile, Jordan is more reckless, but stronger and has all the powers
Jonathan might not have powers yet but he knows how to fire a gun to protect his mom I hope he can keep the weapons for just in case moments because he was Awsome clark wouldn't approve but jonathan would feel like he's helping.
I think Morgan edge will give him powers. He somehow going to talk the johntan and make him think like he’s ordinary and that his brother and dad are the special ones and that he can change him
@@terron.w921 maybe I feel like there will be like a fight between ether Jordan and John Or Clark and John Because if the alien mind takes over then that’s pretty much an evil person in Johns body But as much as I don’t want him to be evil I sure would like to see him and his father have a good fist fight
I feel like Johnathan by the end of the season will have his powers and might be fully powered like Clark. I might even think he might go to Morgan Edge who is Kryptonian and somehow gain superpowers that way but not have his mind taken over. However I think his powers will come natural at the end of the season at a most important time. He will be far more powerful than his brother.
@@abdulrahmanahmed2915 I feel like his mother Lois will be the catalyst for his powers to awaken within. I mean he as a lot of scenes with her. So I think that they are building it up to point where Lois will be in grave danger and Jonathan will be the one to save her with his awakened inate abilities
If they follow the comics, then Jonathan is potentially much more powerful than Clark. Note, potentially, that isn't something we should ever see past occasional glimpses, ala Gohan in Dragonball, until the series finale when he should curb stomp, I don't know, Darkseid or Doomsday
@@abdulrahmanahmed2915 ofc he has power remember at the beginning of first episode when he was lil he threw the football at that tire swing and broke the rope no normal kid is doing that
He thought she was lying, which she was. She didn’t give him any context and that made him question why is wife would lie to him. Leading to him wanting to verify that information from edge himself. He just felt that after everything he had helped edge accomplish, that edge would have more respect for him.
I thought that they would kidnap John and try to put a kryptonian consciousness into his body but it wouldn’t work because he is kryptonian but it gives him powers it still might happen . Morgan might try to put a kryptonian consciousness into John to get close to Superman and kill him but John just get powers .
One thing that I haven’t seen yet in these kinds of comments is the theory that Jonathon might get a Lexo-suit since he doesn’t have powers. Just thought it would be a cool thing.
When he was a little kid he threw a football at a tire swing and broke it that’s strong for a child that age why doesn’t he have super powers I hope he is just a late bloomer
@@Codename_Dee that rope swing was probably put in place when Clark was growing up there. It would probably be more impressive that it was still standing after all of those years.
@@edwarddeguzman3258 Yeah, that honestly is probably what might happen. I was going off of how Jonathon was getting a closer relationship with General Lane. Since Jordan would be helped by Jor-el, Jonathon would probably go to General Lane rather than the pod.
savage enough to poison his family, but shows mercy to tell them to stay down im just saying woulda just killed them since they can easily overpower you one shot one kill
I don't think Grandpa is framed as heartless as we're led to believe. He did say the weapon isn't designed to kill kryptonians. Just weaken them. I bet if he wanted them lethal, they WOULD be lethal.
honestly, i see a lot of people wanting Jonathon to get powers… I don’t. It’s honestly a really interesting concept that a guy who inherited superman’s personality traits didn’t inherit the powers, and has to survive without them. It just goes to show how strong of a person Jonathon is, and suddenly giving him powers kinda robs him of that.
Yeah, I don't want him to be a complete clone of superman. And, I do want him to be the badass weapon guy. The thing is, that's hard to do in shows like these without feeling underwhelming. The power difference is just far too great. Superman's enemies are far too strong for a human to stand a chance. They may wind up nerfing the enemies just to satisfy the human weakness part of his character. Its why I hate when The Flash adds new characters to fight alongside him. The flash is literally a *light speed character* who can handle any situation in an *instant;* Some slow ass ice power or stretch power isnt gonna help him. Another example is in Supergirl when the black Ex and Sister became heroes. They were literally fighting against enemies that *even Supergirl couldn't beat.* So, I do want that weapon type character for Jonathan, it's just that it's hard to do in a superpowered story. An alternative would be having a unique power that's only gainable by half-human-half-kryptonians (and maybe with weapons too), that isn't particularly strong, but depends on how you use it.
@@anonymouslyforgotten3840 i think we circumnavigate that by making him more of a Lois type where he’s more investigative. It could work since Lois is the second title character and has such a prevalent role in the story. Put Jonathon with her to handle the mystery side of the story while Jordan and Clark do the punching
@@omarkarim2280 true! That would definitely be a good role for him. I'm kinda on the fence on rather or not that would suit his character, but I could definitely see that happening as the protective type.
I disagree. If handled right, it could be like Steve Rogers. Jonathan gets the powers only AFTER he's proved himself without them. So he therefore understands the responsibility that comes with them. Jordan just has them, without having to earn them, and he doesn't respect them yet. Clark will teach him to respect his power, but how many more will get hurt along the way. He already broke Jonathan's hand, because he let his anger get the better of him.
i remember "morgan edge" from tom welling's smallville show (2001-2011) that he is just a normal human being, who is a mob boss for the metropolis syndicate, and a childhood rival of lionel luthor.
when you have a weapon that can make the fight equal..you use it..and use it..and use it.........you do not use it once and then suddenly turn into a completely forgetful person
The ones you see here are humans that are given Kryptonian powers a couple of hours before this. Morgan edge Clark and Jordan are technically the only pure blood kryptonians in the show right now.
@@pyromaniac034 I think you need to reread his comment. He is saying that superman had to master his powers in order to use them like these guys. These guys use them without that training
Well, no, he hasn't been training to master his powers for 23 years, but instead has been learning how to control them, a mild difference. As he makes sure not to let his full power come out, since everything is fragile to him, but for them, they have no regard for human life or anything, so they don't restrain themselves. That coupled with the fact their minds are overtaken by Kryptonian minds Iirc, so those minds know how to use their powers to a certain degree.
@@mastere6115 Its different using powers on Krypton and Earth. And the mild difference you say is easily overseen when Edges super powered freaks use their powers with precision. When Kyle uses his heat vision to shoot off Jonathans gun. Thats precision. Or when Tag destroys part of the train. Compared to Jordan breaking jonathans hand and sneezing frost. Or better yet his hearing. See what i mean?
I don’t think he will. I think they (the writers) are only giving powers to Jordan to even it out. One superboy and one normal human. One boy for Superman one for Lois. To make it fair.
@@alexiciamoore5642 wait a sec what if John doesn’t have powers because something is holding his kryptonian DNA back and it will later manifest like how Jordan power came with anger 🤔
@@TheSTPhelps nobody forgot its just were talking about john powers not being remotely looked at because they never tested him like they tested Jordan at the fortress even though Clark said it’s unlikely because human DNA is very strong
Maybe John does go to Morgan but since he’s already kryptonian partly it will disable the ability to replace it with another kryptonian entity but it will still give him powers and he does the right thing
Hope they get rid of Lana’s boozy hubby ,sick of him riding Morgan edge’ ding ding. “Morgan edge this ,morgan edge that” proud wifey moments are getting stale
@@AJ-kq9bj lol mainly superman didn't have twins before crisis but after crisis Oliver changed some things twins was one of them,I think he is referring to it
This show gets past a lot of what's annoyed me about the CW for a long time, but for one thing: the generic stubbled hot guy. I legitimately thought Kyle was Green Arrow for a bit.
I feel like its in him it just needs to manifest in him but he broke a rope with a football when he was a kid something that i could never do when i was a kid
