1:08 I'm glad that Jordan is learning how to finally control his powers. The Jor-El AI initially said that he would never be able to produce his powers on command, but as Clark suggested it was obviously too soon to come to that conclusion since his powers were just starting to kick in. Jordan is still very young and has been slowly growing stronger everytime his powers develop, but it's shown here that he's still got a lot to learn about how to properly use them. I do hope that Jordan gets proper training on how to fight with them since it's obvious that he's definitely going to be needed in the fight against Edge and future villains.
Even after the Jor-El AI said that, Jordan continued to manifest other powers like super-hearing, freeze breath, etc... But then I thought about what Jor-El actually said. He said that Jordan would never be like *Clark.* Maybe Jordan won't attain full Superman-level powers, but he is still quite powerful by the standards of Earth metahumans. Just with the powers that Jordan already has he could easily be a superhero, and would be more powerful than many that are already out there.
@@thunderfieldcastle - Even Clark came to think that he may have taken Jordan to the Jor-El AI too soon. It is not the *real* Jor-El after all, just a computer simulation. So its ability to speculate may not be absolutely reliable when faced with an uncertain situation - like a Human/Kryptonian hybrid who hasn't reached adulthood yet.
Maybe if Jonathan FINALLY gets his powers they would have had some kind of chance against Edge. The only thing bothering me about this show is how long it is taking for Jonathan to get his powers. I don’t want to have to watch the second season with Clark having to train his other son. But that is honestly the only issue. Otherwise the show is awesome.
To a lot of people who said they wish Jordan put up a decent fight against him, you can't expect a 14 year old half-kryptonian who barely has experience with his powers and no training to put up a decent fight against a full kryptonian adult who is practically a warrior who trained his whole life for this moment. This is realistic on how it would unfold, and was great regardless. He is gaining better control over his abilities and embracing his Kryptonian side, much farther than what Jor-El speculated, and will probably continue to gain more of this father's abilities and get stronger too. There is a lot of character development with Jordan and it is amazing. Don't forget, he still is half human and a kid, meaning he's going to be very different from a full Kryptonian. Edit: This isn't Tokyo Ghoul where a half-breed has sporadic increases in strength and power (greater than that of a full). Jordan will come to his moment eventually, but he's barely had any experience with his powers. His genetics might even be like that, in the way Jonathan doesn't have powers (at least not yet), but it's way too soon to tell, and I kind of doubt that would be the case too. As I've already said, he's just different as he would be from being half-human. I'd say just give it some time.
Completely on point! It wouldn’t make any sense for Jordan to come out on top over Morgan if even Clark can’t right now. Jordan can’t even Fly yet, people. But he stepped up regardless to protect his family. His heroism makes him emotionally stronger than Morgan.
@@Dhampir101980 Ya know their is one thing people are failing to realize in the Alternate universe where that evil Superman destroyed the city he did not have kids with Lois I think his son is going to try to learn how to Fly and do the same thing Superman can do and then fight to get his dad back
@@Dhampir101980 I'm going to laugh my ass off if its found out that Jordan is even stronger than his Father and that leads to him stopping Evil Superman and defeating that other dumb ass that started all of this
@@daniels7907 Ooh, I actually really like that theory. It wouldn't be such a shocker that metagenes would synergize more harmoniously with Kryptonian DNA than regular human genes. Though it could also just be the human genome in general. There's a longstanding theory floating around that suggests that any half-human hybridization of anything, be it Kryptonian or Saiyan or what have you; could actually turn out stronger than the full-blooded parent on both sides. That human genes synergize with basically everything. Of course, that is hard to say for absolute certainty, but it is definitely a recurring theme in various works of fiction where half-humans are a thing.
@@unknown-xr3lq In thats case, he truely corrupted by his dad cause Jordan and despite not have powers (yet) Jon are how Kal is continuing krypton legacy. also Morgan kept saying how clark chose them over his own family last episode, dude he chose his real family also your mother didn't even chose you of protecting the humans.
It isnt, its another universe.... first of all his heat vision is red, second of all there is no mention of supergirl and superman is surprised to see other kryptonians, he thought zod and his crew were the last ones. He is also credited as the only superhero in this universe which is outright stated. Hes the first and only superhero so no its not part of the arrowverse
Give Jordan some credit even if he knew he wouldn't stop Morgan I love how he tried though like Clark Morgan has had more practice with his powers. Maybe if Johnathan had his powers too they could have double teamed him may have been able to hold him back a little bit now much but a bit.
That will be cool if they do that but I think the guy I forgot his name the guy that almost killed Superman will beat him then Clark will find his way back to not being kind controlled
I like how Edge wasn't even phased that Jordan had powers. Even though he assumed Superman chose to raise a normal, human family instead of siding with other Kryptonians
Sam is going to think clark betrayed his family and the world by submitting to Morgan when all he really did was protect his family from getting hurt. So here comes his judgmental bullshit
This is very good this will most likely drive Jordan to start training and learning how to control his powers and grow them ! I would love to see a rematch where he manages to last long enough until his dad arrives ! I’d also love to see a scene when Jonathan sees Jordan in trouble like near death experience and that’s enough to trigger his powers
This show of control of power and ability of morgan edges might propel jordan to take this seriously and use his powers to protect his family and not just about control in the future
Weird how the AI of Jor-el said that jordan wouldn’t have any powers. He has invulnerability, super hearing, heat vision, super strength , super breath. All that is left is flying , super speed , telescopic vision , microscopic vision , x-ray vision.
@@madisonglisson311 I was thinking that too because in the episode where Jordan lost control and tried to punch that kid and hit Jonathan’s hand instead to me it look like it moved in the way super fast like super speed
After previously being attacked by kryptonians in their home, they should have retrofitted the house and yard with red sun lamps or something. And they should have had a military escort home!
@Matthew Connelly They've been attacked before when Superman wasn't home. Some precautions to protect themselves if danger comes again, which it did, are called for. Enemy lands in the yard threatening to kill them all, turn on the red sun lamps. Doing nothing certainly didn't help. The military knows that they are facing enemy Kryptonians and they have an arsenal of kryptonite weapons (bullets, bombs, gas grenades, etc). Use them
superman has a field around him that he subconsciously uses like if he's catching a plane but its nose he uses it to not accidentally go through the plane one of the superman clones(superboy half-human) has it too and uses it to fly since he can't yet naturally. The are videos on RU-vid about it
It would be cool if Jorden had certain powers like heat vision and super strength and Johnathon had the other half of Superman’s powers like super speed and flight
Ok no one has mentioned this I think but, I think Jon was going to jump in front of Lois when Morgan was about to shoot her and sacrifice himself like what
Bro I know y’all send when edge called all the hybrids and they just started to fly to him to go kill super ,I know y’all saw the expression on Jordan’s face he wants to fly
Jordan has laser eyes and super hearing so there is a possibility that Jonathon might have flight, super-breath or superspeed depends because he might get powers and of he does they might develop slowly
jonathan will most likely stop edge. they're making him 'seem' useless at this point... ...a big twist would be if they killed off one of the boys. ...
Duuude... Chill, I don't think this is that kind of show. They've said several times that Supes always find a way. I knew nothing major would happen, except for Clark to show how he's not Omni-Man...
Later, Mommy Lois do Martial Art Training from Aunty Alex and Miss Lena Luthor will give Her Lethal weapon to Defeat Uncle (and his group) : " Steel Light Cryptonite Saber" ?!?
Don't know how I feel about this episode. Supes didn't even put up a real fight or deploy any strategy we could see. Hoping he is playing an angle I missed, because I'm currently disappointed
I don't think so. Clark had a little more time to discover and learn to control his abilities. He arrived on earth a few years before Kara, if that still accurate post-crisis.
I think Kara would be able to take on Edge as like him she also grew up on Krypton which is one of the comics reasons to why Kara is stronger than Clark
i seriously need to stop spoiling this show for me. i just started watching the show, and just found morgan edge has powers. great. turning off youtube and turning on the show.
