A campaign where the bbeg is a bard who wants to ascend into godhood, reset the universe, all so he can invent music in the next universe and make sure he's the best at it
I'm not sure I understand that part. I am not familiar with Ninja Brian. I googled him now. The joke is that he's hyping him up and you expect something crazy, but he then just plays that "random" keyboard part? I'm not sure if I got that right either. Either way love the song.
@@xserpent3247 the thing is, ninja brian is sorta a troll? He is hyper aggressive and often a butt of a joke for a song. Is the joke against him, or is he making the joke? You'll never know. He is the punch line, literally and figuratively
My firm belief is that they emailed Brian asking for the sickest synth rift he could come up with and he sent them that little bop and Shoocharu just went nuts with it.
@@AislinKageno well if they all show up (maybe with a cameo from Dan Vasc) the universe would implode then explode then reform and blow up all over again until time split causing each group to save the universe creating a ultima multiverse where NSP saves one Universe Johnothans band saves a universe and so on
Just imagine, everyone: we were all born at the exact right moment in order to be here now on this glorious day in which Jonathan Young and Ninja Brian would combine forces. This is truly universe shaking shit right here, and we’re all witness to it.
I love that the sheer presence of Ninja Brian alone is enough to split the earth in half, it's no wonder he's saved the galaxy with the power of rock and roll before.
@@MudhutStudiosOfficial The future is now, ironically because Starship Velociraptor - animated by someone else - has led to people binging this album.
1st time listening: “Oh hey this is actually pretty good” 2nd time: *bopping to the beat* 3rd time: *”WE’RE THE BEST BAND IN THE UNIVERSE, ROCK SO HARD IT FUCKING HURTS”*
Things I learned from this video: * They are The Best Band in the Universe™. * People in the future don't have pupils. * Jonathan likes the lick. * Ninja Brian can fly.
At the end of the jet pack racing video, they played to Ninja Brian intro from this song. It seems that they will do that for each song on the album, so we’re getting a pirate song next.
D-did Jon just shoot himself out of a starship cannon at a black hole, grab the singularity within said black hole, and somehow use it to claim godhood? That's fucking metal as fuck dude.
YES!!! Oh my god oh my god I am so happy about thiiiiis. Shoocharu makes absolutely amazing videos and I just adore everything about this!! The music slaps, the animation SLAPS, the combo of you and Ninjabrian is fabulous. I AM OVER THE MOON SEEING IT ALL COME TOGETHER!! AAAAA
God I love the fact that Ninja fuckin' Brian collaborated with this amazing songwriter and got on the album Starship Velociraptor, and took this opportunity and said "Hm, how will I contribute to this amazing project? Ah yes, bloopy reggae jams after cutting the Earth in half." Also I love the theory I saw; these guys are from the future, a future where Ninja Brian helped save the galaxy via rock and roll. It makes perfect sense that these guys are from a distant far off year post Ninja Sex Party's "6969", where upon Danny and Brian travelling to what should be the "sexiest year ever", they're met with a dystopian future that they then save. Obviously, Best Band In The Universe are from the year 42069, where Danny and Brian are still lauded as heroes and, perhaps, gods.
@@arkdirfe I would still argue the "BEST BAND IN THE UNIVERSE" traveling through time to get the universe's savior, who happens to be a buff keyboard player, to be slightly more amazing. Supermodel is great tho.
Wow, I didn't know Ninja Brian had a super recognizable style until I heard this. The lyrics, the synth sounds, and of course the bloopy reggae jams are classic Ninja Brian.
I'm pretty sure Danny's parents have his custody. a) Danny and Brian live together (If We were Gay) and b) Danny still lives at his parents' house (Welcome to my Parents' House).
In between NSP's shredded metal and this song, Brian has saved the galaxy and Danny has either died or retired during the fight. Clearly the only path to victory was bloopy Reggae jams.
Theory: Since Johnathan Young is from the future in this, he could very well being a future descendant of Danny Sexbang. Great music had to come from somewhere. *Not in real life, just in this AU*.
considering the animator made their faces similarly shaped in both this music video and the nsp one they did (my parent's house) i accept this headcanon! long lost half-alien relative
@@PH0B0PH1L1A OR even better... He's a DIRECT child born in the future... Specifically AFTER Danny and Brian's adventure in the year 6969. I mean the abstinence patrol DID want to stop premaritals... Ergo Contraceptives would have probably been removed TOO.
I could see it as like One universe the Dark one and all music then turned to blooppy reggae jams... Starship Velociraptor And In the other the light one and there is more variety.
Ngl I have been listening to this song on repeat for the past couple days. Everything about this song hits so hard and the animation is perfect. Very new to this channel and I was shocked that your originals haven’t been doing as well as your covers. Just want to give you some encouragement that your original music is amazing and even if the views don’t show it at first I have no doubt that this will be an album I will be returning to quite frequently. Stay creative and keep rocking!
Can’t believe Ninja Brian left Danny Sexbang to join the Best Band in the Universe. Must have been the allegations that Danny didn’t kill all those kids that upset Ninja Brian.
This feels like what Tenacious D would do if they Kyle and Jack were born 20 years later. It's an evolution to what kind of work they did and I hope that comes off more as a compliment.
"Dad, why is my sister called Rose?" "Because Rose are the things your mother loves the most." "I see, thanks Dad." "No worries *Jonathan Young & Ninja Brian - Best Band in the Universe (Original Song)*
@@dillonkillen6044 If only the claims hadn't been retracted and both parties coming forward to say that the "grooming" thing was false and created by someone else. Yeah he did a scummy thing sleeping with a fan and ghosting her. BUT both were legal at the time.
"So, uh, I got an idea for our RPG.... Three words." "...Right, what is it?" "COSMIC. SPACE. BARDS." "....." "....." "....Why'd it have to be freaking bards?"
Hmmm Lead Singer Variant Human 20 Bard of Eloquence, Bassist Moon Elf 18 Barbarian either path of Berserker or of Zealot/2 Bard, Guitarist Warforged 20 Bard of Lore, Horn Player Half Elf 20 Bard of Glamour, and Drummer Bronze Dragonborn 20 Bard of Valor..... Thoughts?
@@Plauegg_Doctor Well no, that's not it. He's still been know to treat his fans kinda crappily, like leading them on to have one night stands and such.
@@Zomboy123456789 I'm not expecting him to brownnose or take shit...don't really know why you think I do. And no they're not the most reliable of sources, but they're a source all the same. But from the way you talk, ypu seem a little bias towards Dan regardless.
I keep coming back to this song every now and then, and it still baffles me that this was an original project. The production quality is top-notch, and the song just *bleeds* awesomeness. Definitely one of my favorite Jonathan Young songs, and it's gonna be sitting in my playlist for a while :)
Jonathen Young and Ninja Brian in the best band in the universe. Danny Sexbang: I thought what we had was special (runs away crying). But for real it's nice to see ninja Brian branching out.
I've gained an adrenaline more than I thought I could from hearing this on repeat. I FUCKING love this whole thing! The animation, the music, the colors, EVERYTHING! This kicks so much ass! Big ups to everybody who made this masterpiece happen! 🤘🏾
These characters are so cool, just imagine an animated series where they go around on different planets and save the day with rock and roll. So awesome
