I will advise that my earlier material (from 2011) is not of great quality, as it was at the very beginning of my self taught audio engineering journey and I had absolutely no idea what I was doing, and very limited resources. Some decent ideas, but leaves a lot to be desired as far as production, but hey, we all have to start somewhere lol. Thank you so much for checking out this track! But actually, I don't believe it does veer outside of the C double harmonic major scale (C, Db, E, F, G, Ab, and B). Are there notes you're interpreting outside of that scale set? Now Eastern Seas on the other hand, does have an intentional turnaround where it briefly modulates outside of the A# harmonic major scale for a progressive ascension, but then mods right back into A# harmonic major. Interestingly enough, I have begun just lightly experimenting and jamming around with some of the organ sounds I have available to me and it is a very inspiring tonality to work with; that definitely might be a road worth venturing down. @@JonathonThamesMusic Just a couple suggestions, if I may : when using pipe organ stops in the digital realm, you can do a few 'novel' things that don't find their way onto the regular AGO organs ... I mean, the Bordun, Krummhorn double bassoon and other oddball stops ARE fun, but you can try substituting some stops as the 'chiff' (the 'puff of air' at the heard at the beginning of each note that goes through a pipe chest) ... adding the double bassoon as chiff to the 16 or 32 foot Bordun or Bombarda can give you an explosive entrance... just alter the sample-mapping a bit to change the identity of the chiff. Likewise, a chorusing 16 or 32 foot reed is something to be impressed by.. just make sure your speakers can handle sub-20 Hz, high amplitude excursions. (former EE, worked at a pipe organ mfgr for a year.. fun stuff to play with).
