I prayed for disabled people a while ago and after watching this I think that God allowed Joni's suffering because He wanted to help the disabled people through her ❤ No person without those difficulties could understand what they are going through. She has the love and compassion of Jesus for them in her heart. God bless you Joni!

Kirk, I used to wait on you in Atlanta during the 80s. In 2004, I hit a bottom that only God could save me from. I had a total D&A change and ended up having two Liver Transplants and an ileostomy. I'm 62 years old, 24 years sober, praising God, and working out daily. I'm Living God's dream. I have incredible stories of what God has done in my life. I would love to hear from you. God Bless. This is a blessings to hear this testimony! My son has 8 metal rods in his back and the surgeon nicked the cord! He is in constant pain and as a mother this is torture for me but I have never faulted God or blamed God or Jesus Christ for any suffering! I never had that in me ever as I have had many trials! Joni talks about the suffering of the physically disabled person. She obviously didn’t have time to go into how loved ones and family suffer, too. Some walk away because it is just too hard to bare. Or they make it harder on the disabled with their own impatience and struggles. And not just physical disabilities, but mental and sometimes just severe illness. Those sufferings are real also. Misunderstanding and/or abandonment add to the suffering of the disabled and sick. Maybe she can come back another time and address this part of the suffering experience. I wonder if there are counseling services, who might even make house calls, to help couples and families learn how to better cope with the stressful demands of disabilities and severe, chronic illness. 🙏✝️🕊️❤️

Allow me to share a true to story about Joni. I was attending her church when she told the pastor some of her friends would be coming to church. She goes, We'll all sit in the back so no one will be uncomfortable. Pastor says, No way! You all come right to the front. It was beautiful to see them all up there.

Holy Spirit repeatedly shows me these kinds of stories, on repeat. As if the sibling involvement in the accident is significant, on repeat. God help those of us who cannot see. What are we to do?
