Enjoyed the video! Your attention to detail is incredible in your vids and your repairs. I have had great success with Chinese carbs for 4 cycle stuff. Many pieces of equipment I get have carbs that aren't salvageable and a new OEM one prices higher than the mower is worth. I got an ultrasonic so I plan to use that to clean carbs to see if I can save more this year.

You hit the nail on the head.. sometimes OEM is not mathematically smart if you’re trying to make a profit. Also much more willing to buy a Chinese carb that is a 4cycle over a 2cycle for sure. Keep me updated on your ultrasonic bro! Thanks for watching Casey 👍🏼

Hi Chris. Andrew from Simply Small Engine Repair sent me your way. Nice video. I did a video a few weeks ago about a Jonsereds 520SP (my first chainsaw experience). I got it running, but the chain oiler wasn't working right. I disassembled some and could see that the oil line was was hard, cracked and leaking. Unfortunately, you have to completely take the engine apart to change that rubber oil line. Jonsereds are great saws, but this rubber hose should be simpler to replace. Anyway, I am a new subscriber to your awesome channel. Keep up the great work!

Thanks for the mention brother! You got lucky with that one. I hate working on 2 cycle stuff. The carbs are so finicky that I just replace them with Chinese copies. On bigger equipment I try to save the OEM carb.

Throttle wasn't stuck choke actuates the throttle linkage as a part of the starting process, aka the throttle is halfway-on after you pull the choke out until you hit the trigger. Those are good saws.

The Swedes say “yun sir red”. I have a 450 and a 525 and they have cut a ton of wood. The 525 started to vapor lock? Now they just sit out in the Chicken house. I have too much money and about twenty chainsaws. I blow all the gunk out of the chainsaw bar rails with compressed air, outside.

@@ChrisXOutdoors, I have so many now the 525 is way down on the list especially when you have boiling gasoline when it stops running.
