@@jonnyedvardo4954no diss on you, but it’s wild to me that RU-vid will put a 30 second ad on a 4 second video. And for that reason I will not be watching this vid.
Eh, it's good to be aware of patterns but you sound just as close minded and bigoted when you cut people off from being anything than what you think they are.
@@gymbmymb3465 What are you on about? If someone begins a phrase with "I'm not racist, but..." then what should someone infer? That they're not racist, but something they are about to say might be racist and potentially incorrect? That doesn't make it more tolerable. And, it's not ignorant or rude to make that assumption. It's not close-minded to make an inference from historically negative phrasing. It's like how one could gain psychological insight into someone based on a few interactions. You're not being close-minded. You're being critical.
@@BobNinjaCat "but something they are about to say might be racist and potentially incorrect? That doesn't make it more tolerable." I don't care about what is tolerable, I want someone to speak their mind clearly. If it's racist it's obvious, if it's offensive but they're incapable of saying this because of society's neutered sensibilities then they will never say it due to people like you en masse brow beating them. Being critical requires a reason to be so, if someone makes a quick quip or god forbid a joke and you judge each and every other example with the mind of someone passing judgement then not only is that close-minded but also #&%$ off you're annoying, stop being an obnoxious mother hen. Also why did you immediately go to racism?
@@BobNinjaCat Still, I don't see why you need to make an assumption/inference at all when you could just wait 2 seconds and see if what they said was actually racist or incorrect. I mean, odds are it will be, but you never know. Sometimes I like to say stuff like "I'm not racist, but I think coffee tastes better without sugar." Then people get confused trying to figure out how it's racist.
