I remember an interview of Fats Domino by Jules - Walking to New Orleans. Fats wasn't interested at all and was just there for the money, as far as I saw. Jules was saying how he tried, as a youngster to play like him. "Do you play?" asked Fats. "I tinker a little." replied Jules, in a typically understated British way. "Show me" said Fats, with a slight curl of the lip. Respect was shown thenceforth.
