Great review. I recently tried the Joop! line for the first time, in the form of the deodorant spray. The light touch is very nice. Also love the way you anglicize foreign words. Unpretentious, straightforward pronunciation.
Nice to see you back , great room I'm crap at snooker! P.S. Please tell Perfume parlour to bring back the smaller sizes of extraits 60ml is to big and too much Great work Paul
Glad you're back Paul! Congratulations on the new addition to your home! Just wondering, will you be resuming the 365 project? I really enjoy that series.
Thanks Brian. The 365 project was started during lockdown when I had endless hours spare but now I work a full time job so it’s impossible to create a video per day. 👍
Bought this for £30 during Superdrugs' Black Friday sales. I really enjoy it. I'm much more trigger happy though (I blame CurlyFragrance 😆). I go with 8 or 9 sprays, then reapply 2 or 3 more after 6 or 7 hours 😆. Received about 5 compliments at work...people like it 🙂👍.
Great build Paul! Glad you like this one more than the original. Means that I would probably appreciate it too. Yeah, that OG was just a bit much for me... 😆 Perhaps the original candy scent of the 90s?
I have to say, I was a huge fan of the "bubble gum in a bottle" original back in the day. Mind you I was 18 at the time. As I've aged and my tastes has change, I've never felt like picking up an other bottle of it. I still enjoy sweet smelling fragrances but Joop (I'm so glad you pronounce it the same way I do) always felt a bit too much and like you say, more suited to a younger person. This version however? After this review has made the list, definitely grabbing one of these
I found the OG joop to be more masculine because of the other notes it has. I tried this one today and I’m not tooo sure about it. It smells too flowery
hello, sorry for the inconvenience, I would like to know if you had to split between alexandria and perfume perlour, which house produces the best clone in terms of longevity and similarity Thanks
Hi dz dz. I’m sorry but I can’t really answer your question. I’ve sampled hundreds of fragrances from the perfume parlour and only a handful from Alexandria so it would be unfair to make a house comparison but the ones I’ve had from Alexandria have been good quality but more on the pricier side.
@@magsfrags2020 I have yet to smell that one. I do own Pasha de Cartier Edition Noire Sport ( a blind buy). I was hoping to hear you thoughts and opinions on L'envol edt and edp. Also from the Declaration line. Thanks.
@@magsfrags2020 send me your number. Not sure if you still have mine it hasnt changed. If you dont im on Instagram drop me a message. Ive moved now so not in Shelf anymore
I love this perfume but I won't recommend anyone to wear this in the office. It projects and lasts like crazy. I'd probably be sent home with a warning for giving everyone migraine.
