INSANE fragrance! Lets not forget the price. The balance of powdery vs cherry sweet is nothing short of a masterpiece. I ordered CDNIM and YSL LNDH electrique, both fantastic, then i found a sample of Joop homme le parfum in the box they came in..DAMN! It blew me completely away and put me in a straight trance like state. Ordering a bottle instantly. A steal at this price.
Recently tried this and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. Lavender bomb for my nose and also the addition of praline gives it an enjoyable gourmand/chocolaty aspect that I like. The performance was dynamite, 12+ hours and also with a very strong projection. This may be cloying to many people so 2-3 sprays will be more than enough. Thanks for the review Steven ! my perfume changed and smells great now!! Hy thanks for the Video!! i am from Austria and i bought this one 2 months ago. it was like a storm in a bottle. Not balanced and awful. but every 1-2 weeks i sprayed a little bit of it on my wrist and tried to connect with the scent. but today after another 2 weeks it smells way more round and well blended nearly seducing cloud of aromas. i guess it was so fresh out of the factory 2 months ago,that it was not even ready to sell. this scent was way more funky. like a toilet freshener
i tried it in store today i was very pleasantly surprised its not my usual think but yes its really very good its sweet but nothing like that nauseating sweetness bomb of the og a truly worthwhile flanker
Thanks for the review! I've got ONLY 2 QUESTIONS: 1) How similar is it from the original of 1989? (If you could say 50%/75%/etc.). 2) How predominant the floral notes are (if they are), APART from the iris? (For example heliotrope, which is in the first Joop Homme or any other floral notes? layered it today with cerutti 1881 and the freshness on the 1881 really added some great sparkle to the Joop. i am someone who doesn't got into layering but it just happened today by mistake and the results were a crushing fragrance
Great review, thanks Steven! funny, I just got the Joop, Homme eau de parfum a few days ago (in Switzerland, not sure they released it in the US). It's also a good scent though the notes sound a little different. Will be sure to look out for this one.
Just to let u guys know dior sauvage elixir they came out with a 100ml bottle now but price point is 230 dollars on their website n also with macys. My small will do me fine dior ain't worth 230. Have a great day

ps: is the iris the smell that reminds of musc for men from narcisso rodriguez.? it was this one or joop homme ice that has that clean sheets smell somewhere in the middle
Steven!! Why are you letting the cat out of the bag?? Lol j/k I picked this up last month & I’m loving it. Was hoping to keep this as a secret weapon. 😆 For a sweet fragrance, it feels more versatile and easier to wear in multiple settings bc of the iris. Great review!
@@AccentBwoy Armaf makes great summer scents in their Club De Nuit range. Intense Man, Sillage and Milestone are all great scents. Even though intense man is my best compliment getter I reckon sillage is actually my favourite.
