Starting the the Retro “DMP” the Jumpman logo faced the heel to show respects to the original colorways and first retro. The change also was due to non OG colorways, but nowadays you see retro non OG colorways with the Jumpman facing towards the toe. Case and point, these the ‘Gratitude’ 11’s. Hope that makes sense
